It happened to me today. I was in my navy BC when my sheild's just started dropping, then my armour. Cruised a small distance, then boom did it again,and when i ran out of bot's/bat's BOOM!
I lost a crap load of stuff that i cannot replace. As it was happening i kept getting red lagg off, and on. I personally think it is some dumb fracking hacker, ruining it for us all. About 8 ship's blew up along with me, and i even saw some tractor beam's out of thin air, which support's my hacker idea. Maybe invisible ship,killing for loot, or something. As every ship that died had good stuff in the hold, and the ship's that had no issue's were empty.

If it happens slowley to the bigger ships, and almost instantaneous to smaller ships. I would call it sniping.

Basicly because, the damage of the "beam/gun" would be enough to insta-kill a fighter/transport, almost insta-kill a Gun boat and take a Battle Cruiser down slowly.

Just my thoughts on the matter.:cool:
