Overview

---

The Renzu Corporation was a small upstart in Kusari which has managed to hold it's own against the mega corporations of Kusari largely due to it's popular "Anki" freighter and it's versatile "Sutinga" fighter. The larger corporations within Kusari attempted to brand Renzu as the budget option but with the help of a substantial investment from Interspace Commerce three years later the Renzu Shipyards were completed in 816AS and with it came the luxurious "Shukensha" liner designed to be the most prestigious ship in all of the sector. Aside from their signature Liner, the Renzu yard is capable of building and servicing most civilian ships. So far, the relatively small and remote yard has not had a shortage of customers, although they have been known offer a discrete service for customers who might not want their identity made public. Renzu was subsequently taken over by Interspace Commerce once it became apparent that both companies could benefit from a much closer relationship.

Departments

The Renzu Corporation has four main departments:

Renzu Transportation

---

Renzu Transportation mainly deal with supplying materials required to build ships and facilities however it is not unheard of for captains to make regular shipping runs if orders are low

Renzu Security

---

Renzu Security was started to keep Transport vessels safe from criminals that lurk in the lanes looking to make a quick buck. In recent years they have also expanded to offer security services on stations and planetside installations.

Renzu Production and Development

---

Renzu Production and Development is the heart of the company where new ship designs and the manufacturing takes place. The Majority is dealt with at Renzu shipyards and then sent out to other stations for resale.

Renzu Experimental Research

---

Renzu Experimental Research is fairly small in the grand scheme of the company and little is known about what goes on in the department to all but a few high up within the company.

As Renzu| was a faction in the past I've tried not to add too much historical information as to not steal anybodies work. So you just get a brief overview and current and future information will be added as it happens.

Renzu will be operating as a subfaction of IC| not as an entirely new thing however will have it's own recruitment, MDs ect.

I think that such attempt appeared in the past and was quickly turned down. Among other things, they cannot do that until they will become official faction which will control NPC bases where Renzu ships are sold and will have their own diplomacy different from IC (naturally with exception of ships owned by people hostile to IC but those would be shot on sight by law enforcement anyway in most cases). Also, they do not have inRP reason to limit number of their customers and subsequently reduce profit.

It's important to note that Samura, Kishiro, DSE, Republican, BMM, etc, all make civillian line freely available ships.

Pretty much as stated, this is probably not allowed but also the renzu ships are all civilian lines so it wouldn’t make sense to shut that down.

I hope however this will give people a chance to obtain stuff for their factions or themselves with a roleplay aspect involved rather than just popping to an npc station. But yeah that’s upto the individual if they want to do that.

As Skorak said check IC diplomacy for now, as it is the parent company so to speak so base rep will follow that which is why I didn’t include it in the write up. But as a business trying to make money I guess we’d be happy to consider dealing with most as long as it made sense.
