From my POV it looks like he meant any NC navy who don't cooperate will be shot. Indies are indies. Gotta agree with the common consensus, the SA was formed back during the dark ages when there was no PvP in NY, so it made sens for thme to be called the SA, however since that restriction on PvP has come down , they've been getting a lot of hassle just because they are trying to do their job as Navy, this is just them consolidating the power they already have according to all but the most vocal, I see no problem with it. They've presented it in RP, if you don't like it deal with it in RP.

The government is now issuing an edict officially merging the two navies together. The northern navy as well as the Southern Alliance navy will be led by the Fleet admiral Woolsey of the actual Southern Alliance Navy. All rogues and renegade ships will be boarded or destroyed by the new navy if they refuse to obey to given orders and instructions. The Navy is now united and has all powers in the Liberty zone of influence.

It says the two Navies are being merged. Now, if "independents" are part of the Northern Navy, and Woolsey is in command of them.. what does that mean?

Why should the indies bow down the SA? Other than bigger guns really, which is how the server roles mostly.
My point is that you won't have an Admiral Independant in the Northern Navy. He can't refuse orders from a lower rank SA or risk death.

Actually I've seen the SA and their indys in action, the SA just asks that you respect a senior member of command, I personally don't think folks should be RPing as admirals anyway unless they can bring a battlegroup to the table, any man in command of one ship is a Captain or a Commodore at best.

Put simply, the SA I would think got sick of pople telling them that Colorado is 'out of their legal jurisdiction' therefore came up with an odd, yet politically motivated yet paranoid way of gaining full control of Liberty space. The NA troops must be in a state of shock or anger if the 'evidence' is true. If not shame on you SA.

About this talk on Independent Liberty military craft? SA you have no authority over them. Independent is just that, independent and have not joined a faction, and that is what the SA is a faction. I have heard this line so many times, "A faction may own a system but they cannot rule over it unless they bought it". Last I checked, I have not seen a proof of purchase on any Liberty core systems. :rtfm: You may be the dominant faction, but you cannot Lord over people outside your chain of command. You are pushing people away, in an RP server that is just plain wrong. :angry:

SA while I cannot stop you consuming Liberty space, but pushing Independent and just trying to find more ways to attack Xenos and pirates is just pointless.
