Money these days is everywhere. If you can't get it by selling stuff on the forums, you can get it by powertrading whatever happens to be the premium powertrading commodity of the month.
Adding in a bonus adds incentive for people to sit in system and duke it out in your event, instead of shrugging it off and doing more uncut diamond runs or xeno relics runs. The size of the bounty also affects this.

It's a nice addition, yeah, but it also adds in a reward for participating in an event with a pre-determined outcome.

The outcome of this event is fixed.

and it also must be kept in mind that some people to have the patience or drive to trade mindlessly since thats about the least fun thing you can do in the game
and since bounty hunting is absolutely terrible (and pretty much dead anyway) it would be a real cool beans if us shooty men had a way of making a bit of cash money even if just during these events

unfortunate that there isnt really anyone leading BHG currently, no?


Can we at the very least get a very bright yellow dev statement on why 5 million per kill on this event would be bad? All it would do is give incentive to a wider range of people to participate. I'm even will to add in a please-and-thank you to that post.

Too bad we can't just set each battleship to have an HP bar similar to a core 4 for the week and (at least somewhat) go by who's still standing in 7 days.

It would, indeed, be beneficial to increase the reward. That would stimulate players to play for the factions that are part of the event, instead of coming as third parties which can neither score nor provide points. Either that, or remove their ZOI temporarily.

I am not logging for this event solely for the sake of some ephemerical credits reward, it is all about good interactions and decent combat.
If it covers my expenses for restocking my ammo - i am fine with it.
