I don't know about that as I don't play the game itself these days, but when I did, and that was reasonably recently, I knew the RM weren't the only group of players to log off en masse at the appearance of [RHA] ships. Admitting there is a problem is the first step in fixing it. Not that I care much though, myself not playing the actual game, but I sometimes unfortunately have this feeling which urges me to help people.
