Meanwhile 7-8 bomber can destroy 20 dreadnought. Yeah sure caps are op. *rolls eyes*

If snubs can 1v1 caps, then there is no reason to use a cap anymore. A good solution would be giving snub shields resistance against cap guns, something like %30-35 would suffice.

I'm pretty sure 5+ of anything can beat anything over time. That shouldn't really be an argument.

Use balance magic to make each class' respective guns do zero damage to each other. It'll look and feel a bit silly, especially in terms of immersion, but at the same time I'm sure it will massively boost the quality of fights.

when was the last time you saw 8 bombers or 20 dreadnoughts on their own, let alone fighting eachother, i wanna see that too

During a CR vs OC event about 10 months ago, in which both sides had to blow up the other side's base, and the loser would lose an existing NPC base. Shjoter, then CR leader, gave out free Deimos dreadnoughts to indies trying to still win the event against overwhelming odds, and still lost. He still has PTSD from that. Please forgive him.

Nearly every cap can carry a loadout to counter caps and snubs and still be versatile. Only bombers can pull this off for snubs.

I am starting to lean on the idea of fighters having ability to mount anti-capital torpedo of reduced effectiveness (half the damage of Nova?) as an option instead of CD or missile

And suddenly have bombers dominate or be useless because either caps cant do damage to them or bombers cant do damage to caps depending on implementation. This implementation will make a whole class obsolete.
