Ever since the arrival of the Carrier Hades in Tau-31, the Crayter Republic has been waiting for an opening to launch an assault on Gallic positions in Tau-31. With the Royal Navy preoccupied in New London and Gallic forces being recalled away from the Tau cluster, that moment has arrived. After months of planning, the Republic has extended an invitation their regional allies to join their assault against the Royal Navy in the system. The objective: to capture New Tours Watch station and seize control of the trade lane intersection there from Gallia.
Allied forces can expect to encounter significant resistance, as Tau-31 is a crucial system in the Royal Navy's primary supply line for the Bretonia theater.
Meanwhile, the Leeds Resistance Forces have launched a NEMP strike upon the Royal Navy controlled Mooring Fixture for Planet Leeds. The flash was seen in the sky by spectators for thousands of miles.
The strike disabled the structure, now preventing any vessel larger than a freighter from landing via the Gallic side. A supply drive must now be launched by Gallia to repair the Mooring Fixture to resume regular supply operations. Mooring Fixture Parts will be required to repair the structure.
The LRF has put out the call to all allied forces to do whatever they can to interdict any vessels with such cargo attempting to approach Stokes Mining Station.

Tau-31 and Leeds are now CONTESTED TERRITORY: All PVP deaths suffered by non-generic IDs in this area have a reduced cooldown of 30 minutes, instead of the standard one hour. You will be prompted by a warning about this when you enter a CONTESTED system.
All IDs listed in the combat event have their ZOI extended to Tau-31 and Leeds.

Not blind. Aland event didn't have rewards for most cargo deliveries. And that is good. You either make good profit as it is or just have more intense PVP, without majority of people becoming toxic to win or prevent loss at any cost even by losing their sportsmanship.
