As part of the Grossbauplan 826, it is time to address the repeated requests by the Erzbetrieb Ore Mining Services of our big family, and a substantial expansion of the facilities at Regensburg Station is called for.
The aim of the project is to provide an expansion of approximately 200,000 metric Standard Units of processing and Storage space for the thriving Aluminium Ore trade; this upgrade has been necessitated by the heavy demand for the Ore in multiple House markets. Resultantly, storage capacity has been the major bottleneck during Mining Operations.
Expansion of the station will be achieved in four (4) phases, each necessitating different engineering and shipment requirements. They are detailed below im the Project Plan. In order to allow the smooth continuation of trade operations during the construction period, all effort should be taken to maximise speed of delivery; delivery and shipment payments have been set appropriately high to compensate captains for their on and off-duty efforts. Furthermore, the station's normally largely automated facilities will be supported by the deployment of an Engineering crew to oversee construction and shipping operations.
A delivery summary of the current phase is provided below, please see each Phase description for the current status of deliveries. Shipments should be logged according to the Shipping Division Template.
Regensburg Expansion

Project Phase: Phase II
Phase I: Deconstruction of Defense module.
In order to permit the development schedule going forward, the 4th defensive installation has been decomissioned and deconstructed for redeployment at a later date.
Phase II: Construction of Expansion Modules.
The requirement for multiple cargo storage areas intended for bulk storage will necessitate a major expansion of the station's structural frame and outer primary hulls. This will be the aim of Phase II, building a two part expansion to the facility along with expanded support systems and solar arrays.
Phase III: Construction of three (3) primary bulk-storage bays.
The primary objective of the projekt is the construction of three (3) Storage bays intended for bulk storage of Aluminium Ore. This will be achieved through the construction of 3 inter-connecting bulk-storage bays in the newly expanded station areas, connected via automated loading systems to existing storage modules. This phase will include the necessary expansion to docking bays loading and unloading facilities.
Phase IV: Reconstruction of Facilities.
As part of this plans outline, deconstruction of existing defensive facilities is foreseen. Therefore, Phase IV is intended to provide the option for this installation's reconstruction. A Review will take place prior to Phase IV, to determine whether further expansion should be considered, or whether the defensive installation can be rebuilt. Further information will be provided at the end of the review.
