Screen problem

Hello all, I used to play FL since 2004 and since then I never faced a problem like that.
Please check the following image

Whatever I do, the screen shows like this.

Playing SP and 4.85 mod (dont ask, Im just in love with it lol)

Anyone has a suggestion to solve this problem?

look at luncher in the setting, it probably use the desktop resolution, other solution change ingame the resolution

I can only see a screen that is stretched to fit on an extreme wide-screen monitor
(nearly 18 : 10 aspect ratio, if I check the pixels of the image you provided).
If you prefer to have black bars and 4 : 3 ratio instead of the stretching
you shouldn't tick "Use Desktop Resolution" in the Discovery loader or
enter another resolution.

Aspect ratio can be set via Hudshift.dll too. The Hudshift.ini has to be
in /DATA/Interface/ for that, while it's normally in /EXE in the recent patch
versions of Discovery. Your image looks hudshifted since the controls are
placed were they belong and not somewhere further inside the image.

If you have a totally different problem i didn't perceive maybe describe it in text too.

Let me be honest, when I play the game what I see in my monitor is how the screenshot I provided shows, however when I printed the screen and pasted it in my graphics program to save the image, the screen image (inside the graphics program) is shown normally and not stretched. Weird. I resized the height in order to show you how I see it when playing the game.

Regarding the launcher, with this mod the game initiates with freelancer.exe, unless Im missing something else.

PS My monitors resolution is 1920x1080

is it freezed? no move , it's like a screenshot? in your launcher you have game setting, you can or not use the desktop resolution, if not i don't see

or reinstall the game , try in discord help channel

No its not frozen, its playable

it's the resolution, take a screen of your launcher"game setting" and 1 in your game in option

do it and show us, i'm lost there and explain again what exactly you want, take it short if it is playable

you know there are many players better than me on these problems
