As I'm a returning player, the information on the lore has absolutely blown my mind. I've found myself going about trading in my little freighter, just reading the information on wrecks and systems, as well as gathering any information from the wiki ( even though it might be out-dated). But I have NEVER been so jaw dropped. When I saw the Freeport 4 blown to bits, and shredded a tear... Just What?
So, for the point of the post! What the hell happened?!
But seriously, my main question is why have the GRN stopped their advance? By what I've seen in-game, they were absolutely destroying Sirius. I've seen how Gallia is becoming/become several states of space. But what caused that? There's probably a thread about that, but I haven't been able to find it?
Last time I played, GRN has just invaded Leeds, Causing any KNF to become Exiles.
So... what the hell has happened?!
Also... Slightly interested in the backgrounds of the main menu now... Kusari and Rheinland ships destroyed? Whats happened with that? Also...
GRN blew up FP4.
The council has been large enough for quite a while to do what ever but instead they waited until REVOLUTION! or I mean... Story devs forced this kind of split. More into it
GRN just couldn't take NewLondon with CR,C,Liberty and BAF all defending Bretonia. Even the outcasts fought the GRN many times in BAF controlled/contested space in game.
BAF took Aland cos they had only 1 shipyard left cos GRN blew them all up.
BAF took Planet Gran Carina in O-49 cos refugee crisis or something as well as planet Sprague in O-3... cos refugees.
GRN took Edinburgh and renamed everything.
Planet leeds has been exterminatus'd and so is dead.
Erm... Corsair battleship Fes is damaged and I think in O-47 right now cos... I think GRN attacked it I might be wrong.
Newcastle got attacked and Belfast was maximum over nuked by GRN.
Bunch of BAF battleships/fleets destroyed and the LNS-Ottowa is dead.
Glossing over loads here but... I think this sums up enough.

GRN blew up Freeport 4 cause Liberty had some peeps stationed there to watch the border, Gallia, Gallia and more Gallia.
Gallia commenced planetary bombardment on Leeds, so now it's just a smoking Ruin. LD-14 is blown to pieces, Stokes, Basically the entire Leeds system is a smoking, smoggy wasteland. Gallic war is over, Gallia fragmented. Aland was blown to pieces then rebuilt for the Bretonian war machine, Gran Canaria was taken from the Zoners by bretonia... Anything else? Not really. Probably the most notable things in regards to what's happened recently.
Gallia, Gallia, and a whole lore more Gallia.
Also, IMG has gone full on terrorism mode while you've been away, and Exiles came back to Kusari. So there's that.
OH YEAH we forgot about...
So GMG did some stuff and started a war between Kusari and Rheinland.
Since we need more wars of course and those two were already weakened from previous wars which they lost.

Hello there! Nice to see a familiar face; 2012 =LSF= sends its regards, if you remember what I mean.
This might seem as shameless self-promotion, but here is what happened in Bretonia in a nutshell.
Gallic war: Gallia continued a string of victories culminating in invading New London, blockading Magellan and Cortez to cut off Liberty reinforcements. Supergate project was a failure and waste of two Liberty fleets, which forced a breakthrough in Cortez culminating in the Battle of New London, forced to begin ahead of schedule because CR cut off GRN supply lines, and GRN had to force victory in Bretonia or be defeated everywhere. Battle commenced, but ultimately GRN was crushed. They attempted to bombard the surface of New London to break Bretonian morale but only worsened their own casualties by slaughtering civilians. After failing, the last Gallic formation fled to Leeds and turned off the gate, glassing the planet, ultimately fleeing after defections from their genocide resulting in the Allies reopening the gate, springing a trap of anti-battleship weapon platforms as the Council defeated GRN in New Paris after a brief battle and immediate call for cease-fire by a new Gallic leader to prevent mass-deaths there. Royalists have been all but defeated and the Council is victorious in Gallia.
Kusari: After Gallia more or less secured Leeds, the Imperial remnant commenced civil war over the newly formed Republic of Kusari, battling for control. There were few major casualties, although the Nagumo was one of them, but more or less the civil war went cold, and eventually both side negotiated and the Empire returned as the dominant power in Kusari, forming the now Reformed Empire of Kusari.
Sigma's: A Aoi attack on a Rheinland border station triggered a second Rheinland-GMG war, which eventually spilled into the destruction of a Kishiro-GMG station over Saigon, bringing the Kusari Empire into aggression, initiating war between Rheinland and Kusari, although neither player base really wanted it. Kusari deployed it's new warship into Sigma-21 and kept Rheinland at bay until Rheinland poured all but like 3 of their battleships into invading the Sigmas. A massive standoff in Honshu ensued as Kusari prepared for a counter attack, while players tried to form a peace to end a war neither wanted too much. Nobody really knows if this peace will be recognized or if war will continue, but everything is at a stand-still barring GMGs conflict against Rheinland.
