Short biography: Jason Montgomery was born to simple workers on Leeds, living there for most of his life before the Gaelic war. As a child he dreamed about moving to Cambridge and attend the university but was forced to work due to necessity on the planet. When the Gaelic war opened up, he wanted to join the Armed forces but his parents convinced him work in the heavy industry on Leeds was just as vital to the war effort.
As royal forces arrived at Leeds, he escaped on a refugee ship bound for Liberty but his parents did not fare as well. With all of his friends and family dead in the glassing, he now seeks revenge. He doesn't think the war is over for good and wants to be in position to face the Gaelic forces when they next fight or, reclaim territory for Her Majesty.

I do not know. I am still new to the game.I am aware of many of the ships, Norfolk, Essex to name two but I do not know which ship is the Flagship.

I am aware that the Gaelic war is over, but remnants continue to be hostile to Bretonnia. Mollys, Corsairs and Outcasts continue to be a major problem for the Crown.

I have always LOVED Bretonia in Freelancer. I played on a multiplayer server as a teenager (I'm 31) and joined a BAF guild there that unfortunatley fell apart due to infighting from the higher ups. I have IRL military experience (Army, not Navy) and love Military based rp.
Can you fund your ship and equipment? The BAF| can provide you with limited credits or equipment if you can not.
I currently have 15 million credits. I know the Bretonian heavy fighter costs 7 mil. I intend to continue to make money until I hear back from you.

Bear in mind HM's enemies have changed, Outcasts (AKA Maltese) are not to be shot on sight as they once were. Motivation for joining the Bretonia Armed Forces: I am Bretonian. This is my home. My last job allowed me to see first-hand to what our enemies are capable of and the pain that our people went through and I want to stop that.
Short biography: Born in Planet New London to Marco Otxoa e Mariana D'Onofrio, Outcasts. What was to be a scheduled stop in Bretonia, became a life-long stay for the Otxoa's. While not easy, enduring the stigma of being Outcasts, his parents made the best out of the situation at hand, finally landing steady jobs in the Bretonian society, that allowed them to live a productive, yet quiet life in one of the mega-cities suburbs. Daniel, much like his parents, needs Cardamine to survive and the breathing apparatus as a youngster decidedly put him at odds with his fellows. Even so, as his parents wished, he strove to become a productive member of Bretonia and accepted as an equal not by difference but by actions.

Motivation for joining the Bretonia Armed Forces:
Short biography: Born to a humble common family of four on Leeds. Her parents, who conceived their eldest daughter in teenage-hood, adopted the life of factory workers in the vast industrial districts of the planet. As such, they were unable to provide the best possible education to Amelia - or at the very least, the education she had hoped to receive.
She studied foreign languages in the University of Leeds, pursuing a job in that domain for only a brief period after her graduation and certification. Instead, inspired by her youngest uncle John - an armed forces officer, she decided to put both her luck and resolve to test as she put her name for enlistment in the Armed Forces' reserve forces.
Transferred to Welbeck base on Leeds, she received her basic training and combat training for the first few months before continuing on to the more advanced and specific training courses. Despite her expectations of herself, she proved to have had a knack for the military life. Strong dedication and motivation, which seemed to be a trait flowing through the blood of her family line, as well as a fit physical build and prowess in space combat, gave her the position to be on the right track for an honorable end of training period.
The new fighter pilot took her first active service flight just in time of the Gallic invasion of the planet. She spent almost the entirety of the first year repelling landings and attempted bombing runs on resistance and civilian positions. In an unfortunate mixture of both bad luck and lack of experience, Amelia found herself in a smoking fiery fighter after being targeted by a Gallic interception squadron. The crumbling fighter crashed behind enemy lines with no sign of an ejection to be seen by spotting elements.
Declared M.I.A with no possible way of recovering the possible corpse of the downed pilot, later investigations changed the status to K.I.A as the ship was too damaged for any chance of survival, and the discovery of a destroyed escape pod not too far from the crash site with an excessively charred corpse inside. Due to either negligence or hastiness and lack of proper evidence to reject an assumption in dire times of war, the corpse was presumed to be of Amelia's.
Instead, it appears to be that Amelia just barely managed to eject her own escape pod as her own flaming ship collides with her wingmate's pod, destroying and torching it. Isolated and wounded, Amelia managed to pop her jammed pod open and sneaked towards the unknown, hoping to find any insignia, uniform or outfit that did not resemble that of the Gallic Royalists. Eventually found by an isolated small platoon of Bretonian marines with little means of communication. Somehow, the platoon managed to survive on its own with little means of communication with operational command.
Somehow the platooned managed to live off guerrilla warfare, covert operations and raiding both civilian and gallic supply warehouses and stores. Amelia's convictions and motivation to remain planet-side and assist with the war effort only grew stronger. Remaining there for the rest of the occupation period until the catastrophic glassing of the Planet. She boarded one of the last few shuttles that evacuated off the planet.

Motivation for joining the Bretonia Armed Forces: Following the example of my uncle, Admiral Mark McKenna (retired)
Short biography: Only son of Charles McKenna and Violet McKenna, née Barton. Even as a young boy, I was drawn by the illustrious career of my uncle Mark. I would eagerly listen to his tales of swift skirmishes and daring pursuits. As I grew older, he would also share harrowing stories of sorrow and suffering. I realized then that I cannot imagine my future anywhere else, but in the Armed Forces. But not for the sake of excitement or heroics. I simply could not stand by when I knew how my countrymen suffered.
To that end I directed all my efforts and studies with the guidance of my uncle. I studied on military schools, eventually finishing top of my class at the Royal Naval College. My Uncle also insisted that I devote extra time to my combat skills, on top of my academy studies. I attended lessons from several private instructors as well as Armed Forces veterans.

Motivation for joining the Bretonia Armed Forces: The disaster from the Coalition attack, many disagree with the Bretonian expansion. But it's done a lot of good for my family since it happened.
Short biography: I was born on one of the more populated settlements of Gran Canaria and raised by my guardian Freyja Engel. I was home-schooled, and worked for an equipment shop nearby on Gran Canaria. Mostly fixing up cargo transports, sometimes we'd get some unfriendly Corsair or Coalition visitors that wanted their stuff tweaked as well. All that went on until I was seventeen, that's when the Bretonian Military showed up at our doorsteps. Once the colony we lived in was re-named a Bretonian colony, my guardian and I applied for citizenship. We were both approved, and had thoughts of applying for a Bretonian technical institute or academy. But after the attack happened, I decided this was the path I needed to take. I have a lot of experience working with fighter craft, I'm sure I could give you a lot in the long run. The Bretonian Empire has done a lot for me and my guardian, please accept my wanting to return the favor.
