Screen recording program

Well as the title states I'm looking for a decent screen recording program that's simple to use and isn't too hard on the system. I've tried fraps time and time again and there was always some problem or another. If anyone has info please feel free to share it.

you can try gamecam, look it up on google. It's like fraps but you dont have to pay to get constant video recording... only thing I dont like about it though is that gamecam doesnt record in high detail.

Fraps is good but some systems have fits when trying to run it. You can clean up GameCam using windows movie maker but not much.

Xfire Video Beta does a decent job, but it slows my comp from 60FPS to 20. Probably will work better once I get my new proc.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

EDIT for audio mixer it's blank (the audio device is there I guess)....why?

Odd when I pressed the hot keys for recording it did nothing....at all. Is there something wong? Some kinda requirement?

If you have a ATI or Nividia chipset installed. Use Growler GunCam.
FRAPS is another option but its a bit demanding on requirments

If you are going to record, you might actually try lowering your resolution ingame. If you have a low framerate while recording, try 800x600 if its there.

Oh... and I have heard a FEW good thngs about Hypercam.

EDIT: Oh and you might review your settings in Xfire to see if its on, I think I remember you having to activate it. Sometimes Xfire doesn't pick up a game sometimes, on my computer. You might try restarting the game again to see if that helps.

EDIT: Lol double posted the same thing. Fixed that.

Guncam stops after ten seconds (no sound) xfire crashes What could be it?

no screen recorder has ever had working sound.
