The story behind: Synth Foods, Inc makes a breakthrough in farming technology. A group of 7 scientists with equipment (Optronics) board Synth Foods Convoy and travel to Stuttgart to test their theories in practice on cellulose plant farms.
However one of the scientists has moral issues about the whole deal. He is an idealis who no longer believes in his work. Information finally leaks to LWB.
Synth Foods convoy escorted by its' escort is heading down the lane. LWB move in for a kill and as Synth Foods send a distress signal. A wave of Search and Destroy agency's Bounty Hunters from Baden Baden arrive and join Synth Foods in fighting the LWB.
Endings: If LWB win, the shipment is captured and attempt to move it to Darmstadt is made. Little do they know that among the many Optronics loaded into the transport there is an Optical Chip tracking the shipment for security precautions as the last line of defence in case of failure. It alerts Search and Destroy agency of precise LWB convoy's location and an attempt to recover data and the scientists is made.
If Synth Foods win, the shipment lands on Stuttgart. However, the professor makes a haste attempt to flee with the Optronics into the Saarfeld. Again, the chip alerts Synth Foods who send out S/D after him and his LWB friends.
How it works: Synth Foods shipment with 7 VIP's, 43 Optronics, Food, Water and the Optical Chip on board is escorted by Synth Foods escorts from Omega 7 system. LWB catch the shipment by disrupting lane. S/D arrive from Baden Baden after the convoy falls under attack.
A few ground rules:
1. No attacking the shipment itself
2. LWB cannot board the convoy until 2/3 of the escorts are down. (common sense, when there is no or light resistance) That is including S/D.
3. The convoy does not enter cruiser mode, but move slowly on basic engines.
4. Participants: All Synth Foods properly tagged and ID-ed, only S/D bounty hunters, All properly tagged and ID-ed LWB
LWB may also get a transport of their own choice and after the Synth Foods convoy is captured goods can be moved on LWB craft.
Suggestions please. Thats merely primary idea.
To all those who would like to participate please discuss the date and time. Currently we're thinking February 7, no time set.
Sounds good. I'll direct all members here to give feedback.
Can we agree to guns only - seeing as we are all vanilla ships (Im assuming LWB are eagles)?
I'd suggest making the actual event just one fight - follow ups are really awkward to co ordinate.
Plus we could find a referee.
VHF's, HF's & LF's
I certainly hope this'll happen when I'm available, I'll jump in with S/D.
What's the ship restrictions?. I have a garage full of BHG ships, gonna want to select the right one.
Athenian raised a good point about the Vanilla ships used by all involved, any loadout restrictions?
Majority of players will probably be LWB (see Orin) so I really dont think there should be missile restriction, unless everyone agrees to it. Have to not forget lagg too, hard to aim when you have it.
Craft are fighters and bombers only, of course. Never thought such a question would arise since neither LWB or Synth have Gunboats.
CD's a fair game either way.
Moving in by lane shouldnt be hard for S/D, but if you want it we can make you escorting from begining as well.

But I wanted to fight my GB Transport!
Anyway, whenever this is, I'll attempt to make it in my Eagle.
EDIT: Erm, wait, where exactly is the Saarfeld?
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
Udo can almost certianly come along and emasculate the Synth Food employees with the fact that all of their food is made of liquified wood and that they are sending bounty hunters to kill him.
Also, he can scream in terror when bounty hunters come to kill him.
