Ah ye, i noticed it month ago, that any active communicating devs not in story chats anymore. Guess easier just poke unseliee/durandal, or lurking in lorediscussion lounge, when unseliee active in it

Tho, i have assumptions, that this is temporary solution before some reforms will come.

It's not a solution. It's their total disregard for the people they took charge over. The only reforms will be born of an attempt to save face, but it's all been seen before.

Not only transparency would help, but also if devs permitted crowd sourcing.

Things like spell checking, spotting inconsistencies, improving the format, and improving readability are easily accomplished with crowd sourcing, with only a bit more effort for organization from the person requesting something, which would greatly decrease the workload on staff.

That goes not only for RCRs but also other player requests, infocard dev work, and so on...

There is huge potential for it because this place is full of people willing to help, who are very frustrated with the fact that they cant.

Out of interest, has anyone even submitted a RCR request?

No.

If I can't get any info from Devs about current lore, how can I expect to get info from them about future lore? As in, if my plan is not crossing theirs.

This part of the procedure is explained very clearly in the RCR post. I'll highlight it for you.

Procedure:

• Consultation with the development team regarding feasibility of the request + 1st Discussion of what the implementation could be between the requester and the Development Team
  
• Application following the Application Template below. No template, no action.
  
• RCR fee taken from a character identified in the request.
  
• Approval by the story team
  
• 2nd Discussion of what the implementation could be between the requester and the Development Team following internal discussion
  
• Some form of implementation by Development. This step can often take quite a while, as implementation will enter our queue and be processed when we have time and opportunity.
  
• Cooldown period of two months between successive requests.

So are story chat by Devs now completely useless as noone is responding there to pings? Because I have no faith in this system if I can't get info on current issues that I am trying to inquire about

Think basically people want to know where bullet point 1 of the communication with the dev team part of the procedure is located.

I had a RCR I was thinking about doing and while sure I can DM someone, this is not a perk everyone else has.
