Bonjour,
It has been some time since I have spoken to anyone in the Gallic leadership. Much has changed for us all, myself included. With houses rebuilding from hostilities, I am seeking to expand Med Force Enterprises a bit and possibly give the kingdom some business.
For those who do not know me, I am Dr. John Henry Holliday, founder and creator of Med Force Enterprises. It is our mission to provide medical staff to whoever may need it and training as well. Currently, I have a new facility in Baffin. It is not huge but it serves our needs alongside Med Force One. In it, we do a lot of research on medicines, procedures and a host of other things. Also, it is a place where the worst of the worst patients come for long term recovery.
For awhile now, I have had an office on planet Orleans. I started it to build some trust within the Gallic community. At least planet side, we have built a good repore with the locals. I have also grown a love not just of the people here but of the culture. It is these reasons I have decided to spend more time there and see about expanding.
First, I wanted to know what medical schooling that the Gallic Government has available? Yes, I provide personnel and knowledge but before anyone takes a residency and position here, they are properly trained at a medical school. As it is, I have a couple of people who are wanting to do this. Naturally, I will pay all expenses. I feel this is a good way to build a relationship with the Gallic government.
Second, I wanted to commission a medical cruiser that would be able to travel within Gallia itself. Much like my other Med Force ships, it will be a mobile hospital. In appreciation of the Gallic people, it would be of Gallic design, perhaps a retired cruiser that can be retrofitted.
Third, and this is a down the road idea, I would like to build a base in which to work off of. As to location, that would be up to all of you.
So this is but a start and an idea in the making. I would be honored to be able to sit with your leadership and talk. There are many things left out, items that would be part of any negotiation. I wish to continue my presence in a positive light in Gallia so I ask that we have a chance to talk. I look forward to your response.

We would like to apologize for the delay in reply. At the moment, the Paris Assembly is undergoing many changes related to paper work aimed at normalizing laws, as well as preparing for certain diplomatic relations. In this regard, the priority related to your message has been reduced.
At the moment, the Paris Assembly is actively functioning and can give you a clear and precise answer regarding your requests. For clarity, each item in your message will be considered separately.
First (medical education): at the moment, the planets of the Confederation are divided between three state entities - the Gallic Republic, the Gallic Minarchy and the Duchy of Burgundy. Therefore, one cannot make an accurate assessment of the general level of medical education. However, in the Duchy of Burgundy there are former royal doctors who were trained to the highest standards of their time. In the Republic of Gallia there is also a high level of medicine, which could lead the population to a good life on the planets Orleanais, Marne and Amiens (despite the climate of the latter). As for the Gallic Minarchy, in connection with recent events, some of the doctors fled either to the Enclave, being faithful to the King, or migrated to the Duchy, being faithful to the monarchy. However, the Assembly is aware that the MAE (Montluc Advanced Engineering) is actively promoting the economy and well-being of the people of the planet Quillan, thus improving the planet’s medicine accordingly. Simply put, the level of medicine in the Republic and Burgundy is much better than the Minarchy.
Second (medical cruiser): Unfortunately, the Parisian Assembly denies you this request. At the moment, all obsolete ships undergo a modernization program or are sent to scrap. In these turbulent times, Gallic Confederation cannot afford to weaken military power. Instead of the cruiser, the "Lucullus" Gallic Liner is the best alternative. It was the liner that initially has all the conditions for a comfortable life for passengers, and therefore its conversion into a medical ship will not take you much time, unlike the cruiser, where you have to change a huge number of systems to civilian ones.
As for the meeting with representatives of the Parisian Assembly, this issue is being discussed, since full employment is now taking place, which violates the ability to make live meetings. At the moment, the only thread leading you to the Parisian Assembly, alas, is this communication channel.

Mr. Speaker,
I thank you for your response. I have learned much about the current state of Gallic affairs since I sent this transmission. I most recently was contacted by a Colonel Saint-Just of the Enclave and received a rather harsh worded from an Eveline LaRoux. I assure you I did nothing to provoke either of them nor were my intentions hostile. My intentions are medical and research, nothing more. We seek to improve humanity.
As to a ship, I have made other plans. I will stay with the current Corvo cruiser design and until I can assure the safety of my people, I will avoid my presence in Gallia. I do this out of respect.
If you or someone of the assembly wish to meet, I can come to you if you like. There is also the option of the promenade of Med Force One or even a neutral site. The choice is yours.
