FL server....

Well Me and my friends are ussualy wish to play together. (alone becose We buy all ships wich are sometimes OORP) .But I don't know how to start server that others will see it. Any Ideas how can I do that. I ahve FL hook To we get Rep. With other factions.... Plus money.

So Any Ideas?

When you turn on the Discovery Mod, you are given a choice to give characters money when they create characters, so your sorted there.

If I remember right, in the Microsoft Games folder in the start menu, then in Freelancer there should be a FLServer program. That is what you use. Its pretty self explanatory from then on.

Ioncross is also a good program to use too.

*edit*, I don't know how to post server in the work-around server, but you can just make a shortcut with your ip on it.

Ron, that doesn't work, since as a home PC, he doesn't have a static IP. no-ip might help, but it'd be easier to just make a LAN server with Hamachi.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

So wait a minute, it's not against the rules to have a player start off with like 1bil even on the server?

When starting the mod in Freelancer Mod Manager, where is says choose cash amount, it says "Server" before it, that mean when YOU create a server, that is how much money you get on creation. The server is SEPARATE from Discovery RP 24/7.

It is not breaking the rules and there are other Discovery servers out there.
