Geometry and concept nonwithstanding - both are at least passable, concept I like, execution could have been done better - this ship has one of the worst texture jobs I have ever seen. @Lucas actually knows what decent texture work looks like (even if he's not a pro at it himself) and the smoothing is extremely lazy, something which I know he can do better on.

So aside from being bewildered by the involvement of one of Discovery's better modelers in a project that has smoothing and textures arguably worse than many ships Jinx has pumped out (no attempt at all to make the smooth groups or the textures fit to the geometry of the ship), my only real response is that this ship is not going to pass QA standards as it stands now. You can reach out to myself or Felsvar regarding why, but the truth of it is that Lucas knows this stuff already, so, yeah, circling back around to confusion here.

Oh my lord the smoothing is fine in Lucas' p3d

You exported it in Milkshape.

Just a quick disclaimer:
Justin is right and I knew about the geometry issue even before letting anyone texture it and told them that the geometry is wonky.

It'll take quite some work but if there's enough people interested in this model then I'll fix the geometry of the model while trying to keep as much of the original looks as possible.
