Bonjour, cher mesdemoiselles et messieurs.

My name is Miroslav de Gobineau, Enseigne de Vaisseau of Marine Nationale Gauloise and head of Division du Train.

Marine Nationale goes under reformations in logistical and supply structure and Division du Train is a sub-formation that spearheads it. I think that military forces should cooperate closer with domestic industrial corporations and thus we contact you. I am going to be this specific man who starting from now will engage in talks and details of future operations if these occure. But excusez-moi for my head-on approach.

As I said before, Marine Nationale goes under re-building and we approach you, as you are industrial power-house of Gallia, to ask you to lend us a helping hand. I am not going to go into details right now as I want to hear your opinion about all of this.

Sincèrement

Marine Nationale Gauloise, Enseigne de Vaisseau Miroslav de Gobineau.

Bonjour monsieur,

I have already been in contact with the Parisian Assembly in regards to construction orders of military vessels, they have agreed to a contract in which we will deliver an order within the coming months.

We have already agreed that we can offer our services further if and when they are needed.

Monsieur Lacroix.

Splendid. This is good to know, it seems that some information hasn't reached my ears yet or some information is just being slow.

But right now I am approaching with a request a little bit more specific and a little bit more complicated than just a military vessels. We need to build from the scratch totally new and technologically-advanced military logistic network structure. A big and ambicious project. What do you think about that?

Bonjour monsieur,

I am afraid I would require you to be more specific in what it is your are requiring from EFL.

A totally new and advance military logistics network rings extremely broad in my understanding, and I would need further clarification if EFL were to undertake such an assignment.

Monsieur Lacroix.

I'll try to be brief as I can't claim that I am an expert in a technicalities of an engineering.

Let me just get a quote from the official project documentary:

"...semi-automatic logistic system currently in development. It operates by calculating every single ship munition, oil and supply consumption, sending data packages to operational center where it combines all data collected from battlegroups and fleets and organizes supply requests as efficiently and effectively as possible - all automatically."

Basically, we need prepared kits for data centers and instructions for their maintanence and software for that system, maybe the very basic framework - we can finish it on our own. If everything goes smooth and the project itself is going to be in a working condition then we can 'share' it with EFL but this is just a mere suggestion. I can get into the more details but I am currently interested in a possibility of making something like that.

Bonjour, Monsieur.

You'll have to forgive Monsieur Lacroix' absence, he is currently indisposed and has assigned me to take up this project with you.

As far as I can tell, you're asking for an inventory and indexing system that can automatically order replacement munitions, oil and other supplies as they are consumed. This is something we're able to provide you with - such things are already in-use within our various departments. Every item has a tag printed onto it that can then be scanned and recognised by a computer system, which can then adjust the database automatically and proceed to order more should it go below a certain threshold. The system is also able to predict regular spikes in demand and order replacements in anticipation of such events.

We're able to deploy such a system to any MNG data centre that you require, all it'd require is access for a small team of engineers and time for us to take a full inventory of stock currently available and build a database for us within the system.

I hope this is what you were looking for, feel free to clarify anything I might've misinterpreted.

Mademoiselle Baudelaire,

Vous êtes les bienvenus.

I am very sorry for that two-week absence of mine. It was very disrespectful and I am ashamed of that.

Yes, this is exactly what I am talking about, flexible indexing system. Only thing I wanted to specify that we decided that we might need to modify this system to suit our preferences more. Larger scale, easier to use, dumb-proof and secure. Usable on a mobile platforms. This is a concept we still need to develop but with time and effort it will take a proper shape. I will start working on that right away as I finally have time for it.

But now, we just need to build a new data center. I have double checked - we don't have free data centers as we have so few of them, two to be precise. So, new data center is our current task. Actually, two. One is going to be a stationary and second 'set' will be a reserve one or will be used in our projects.

Do you want to be involved in this whole project? Other option is just to provide us with all needed materials and we will keep you updated as we are still using your inventions and information.

Bonjour, Monsieur.

We're more than happy to coordinate with you throughout the whole project, just let us know where you need things and we can have them delievered and our construction crews sent in.

Our software is already available to be used on a mobile platform and is fairly simple to use, the majority of the system is automated and the only manual input is scanning a code on each product using a specialised reader that can then relay all relevant information to the system.

We'll ensure it is ready to be rolled out once the data centre is completed and ensure that full training is given to ensure smooth operations.

Video-feed opens up with Miroslav de Gobineau in all his splendor comparable to a very humble and gentle bear is seen sitting in a small and cramped dimly lit office. There's several holographic screens on his side. There's also cup of hot coffee and ashtray on a table nearby. There also was a small picture frame on other side of a table. Several officers, one of whom was Miroslav himself. But those were not Royal officers. Miroslav is calm but somewhat tired as it seems he was working a lot recently.

Bonsoir, Mademoiselle Baudelaire

I am very sorry for my sudden dissapearance. With a start of Operation HELLWEG I am over-worked so I can't fully focus on Division du Train projects.

So, we need to put on a hold that project until all other Division du Train operations finishes. But let's not waste that time for no reason.

As it was discussed before, we need two data centers, one of them is going to be mobile. I have haggled a little bit, we now have a proper room for data center on Avallon Station in Burgundy and people who are ready to make an overhaul in that room. This is where that first data center is going to be built. Second data center or to be more precise, all the stuff needed for it can be transported to Rambouillet in Ile-de-France system. There's no ship right now - it's currently stationed in Cologne but as soon as HELLWEG finishes, I will move it to Rambouillet and we can start doing our stuff.

Problem is that we can't currently utilize DT (Division du Train) assets, these are all occupied right now. If EFL is currently able to pick up that task, I will compensate and pay, this whole project is already in a yearly budget.

So, I am waiting for your response. And once again, I am sorry for a delay in communication, I'll try to prioritize EFL communications from now.

Bonjour, Monsieur.

Apparently we've both been fairly bad at prompt responses, my apologies as well.

I have not been sat idle for last few weeks however. A team of our engineers were dropped off at Avallon station a few days ago - as i'm sure you've already been informed. Shipments of the required materials have already started being dispatched from our facilities across Gallia. Provided everything goes to plan they should be able to work with your people to ensure the project is completed within a few weeks.

As for the second datacentre, It is unfortunate that the project needs to be put on hold but we fully understand the need to ensure the safety of our great Confederation, especially in these uncertain times. We'll ensure that all goods are delivered to your preferred storage area as soon as we are able too.
