I'll start cracking into it once I get the credentials for it.

There's currently one person doing the entire workload in terms of processing sanctions, SRPs, player requests, OFL requests, etc. I understand it's frustrating, but please have patience.

It's not a matter of getting votes/decisionmaking, it's a matter of manpower which hopefully will be a bit better in the coming days.

The IMG's faction feedback thread isn't the place for nitpicking the faction leader's personal RP, unless it has a direct impact on the faction as a whole. I'd suggest that if you think the character in question breaks the rules, you submit a report and set out your reasons why. If you don't want to submit a report but rather asked the question in the spirit of genuine curiosity, I'm sure a PM would adequately do the trick.

Staff is unable to keep established rules so there is absolutely no trust in your gang being capable of being fair. You choose when to apply rules based on secret criteria and sometimes even clearly written rules are not upheld by staff when presented in clear case.

It's not a clear case as there is no definition for what an import is. Name + picture already enough? Or maybe it needs you to have name and picture and actually play like that character?

It's unclear to me how that rule was originally intended to be used because most of us weren't around when it was added and it doesn't specify exactly what it covers in the rule itself.

Personally, (note the absence of yellow text) I'm not too bothered about people using just names and pictures, it's when people start importing the entire character and its backstory, or even elements of the setting they originally came from that it starts to become an issue for me.

It seems to me that this is probably how it was intended too, or surely Doc Holliday would have gotten himself banned a long time ago, along with the entire Lane Hacker faction.

It was always more of a guideline than a strict rule. We had Yoda talking like Master Yoda, Malaclypse being discordian, Mandalorean Mercs, and probably more.

Doesnt change the fact that unwritten rules need to be written down, and the difference between rules and guidelines needs to be made clear.

The fact that these things havent been done, and that the rules are in a worse state than most faction write ups is a testament to the continuing failure of the admin/gm team for over 10 years. The fact that every previous team was also too utterly incompetent to fix it isn't really an excuse for the current team.

CR is also breaking import rules and not yet deleted from the mod. I once again ask staff to uphold the written rules and remove BSG from Freelancer universe, thank you.
