Idea: To have either a new uncharted system or an area of Connecticut which has every ship in the game in lines (or formations) based on nationality.

Imagine seeing an armada of everything possible to fly. Flying all around row and rows of ships, whilst comparing your own to the next big upgrade.

There is an argument to be said that it will spoil that feeling players have when they first see something cool for the first time in the game as you go around the Sirius Sector - but I'd argue that is an acceptable trade off for the very likely benefit of more players having an increase in ambition of purchasing a new ship and consequently going out to trade/mine/pirate for it.

We all know whats in the game, it's time to show it off and inspire players.

What do you think?

This is a similar example previously done by Why485 in Unity 3D.

I think it's a great idea and I have no idea why it got no traction whatsoever in over a month that passed since you posted it, Avalanche.

We could have a remote part of Connecticut accessible via a jump hole or trade lane connection which would host an array of all ships available in-game.

The video you provided as an example was actually the first time I had a chance to compare Freelancer battleships. I had no idea there is such a size difference between them.

Please, make this a thing.

Yes, I would love to see this. It would also give people a chance to compare ship sizes if they don't have a modeling program too

Yeah this would be Great as well for Target Practice, to Test your weapons on if they where Respawning Models, with the works.
If they turned red on the ones you hit, and started fire back, or even release and come after you. But no Kill bonus or anything.

But more over I would like to see a System for each main house with Roaming Fleet Spawns Like it used to be with Bonuses.

Main one being a Complete Nomad System Brought back, with full roming spawns you could Hunt. and find GB Patroles, Cruiser Patrols with GB escorts, BS Spawns with the works. all in different areas, with one main Neutral base in the Middle, and this being a Neutral System Like Conn where any faction could go into and not have to fight each other, but could even group up and fight Nomads
With unlimited Lives and no Cooldown. (Can anyone say PARTY TIME!)
