To whom it may concern,

The BMF have expressed a possible inclination to donate a billion Sirius Credits to the colonization effort of Exeter, but they want a Lend Lease Battlecruiser in return. I do not think a LLBC is eligible for giving to someone else, as it is not our property in the first place, but I do believe that one Fortitude costs much less. What are your opinions on this?

I have always maintained the position that the Armed Forces would be willing to loan them a one (1) Bretonian Battlecruiser for exploring purposes so long as it was taken outside the house. I maintained:
1) The Battlecrusier is not Theirs it is property of the Armed Forces, it's just on loan
2) They don't get to shoot other traders with it because they don't like them, it's for defence only.
3) It goes out of the house into the independent worlds, not other houses.

If anyone of these three parameters are broken, I'll recall it. Or outlaw it, one or the other.
That is the deal, if they wish to seek this arrangement then they will have to contact the Admiralty themselves, I cannot sanction individual officers giving away Armed Forces ships on their own.
