Liberty Police, Inc. (LPI) is a private company that handles the policing of Liberty space to interdict the importation of contraband and to prevent attacks on civilian and commercial traffic.

As a Private Company LPI have chosen to buy "Sunbucks Coffee & Donuts" which as subsidiary of LPI they are free to do business as the please and if they want to trade Coffee and Donuts for Gold Ore than why shouldn't they?

No I normally don't see private security companies importing Gold from the UK. And if it was the case then it would be mentioned in canon lore of the faction.

If you want to do LPI company related to trade, there's IC who shares LPI stocks and all. There are game design logic and faction lore. Desire to do everything on your faction ID is understandable, but trying to enforce something wacky like this on development is silly at the very least.

There are specific shipping companies and LPI is not one of them. If you are not satisfied leading the police faction and want to trade, then you just go and play trading faction in the spare time of fulfilling the LPI duties.

I don't think it's fair to expect Devs to make up a new mining model which takes into consideration a player made group which likely is only flown by a few at the best of times. Like Karst said, if RolePlaying transporting Gold is your thing, buy the usual trade commodity of it.
