In case of an all-out cheater attack, yes, the easy thing is the better one. I am sure in a calm situation the kick & ban would be the admins weapon of choice, maybe with a warning and discussion beforehand.
Agreed. And Nathan has already been doing a wonderful job so far. We don't need threads those question the members of the administration squad. I request a lock on this and any other of the same kind please.
If you dont trust a person to represent you on your account dont give them your account. If they cant keep them selves from swearing and screwing things up for the other possible 200 people then screw them and you for letting them on. Sorry for the rudeness. But I want these words to carry my revoltion and lack of sympathy for this situation.
Dont let people you can trust to be polite in game on your account. Burn them a copy and tell them where the mods are, it free if they dont like it they can delete it.
Otherwise if lesson is learned Ill be happy to see you in space when your sorted out.
I kidd you not my my flea would have been hot on your tail with your actions...seeing how for the last 3 hours of me playing the modders were killing me over and over again I was getting mad. SO anyone who appeared to be a modder would have be taged and my big friend would take care of them...THANKS MODDERS you sure know how to have a good time. ~40 screenies one is bound to hook you.
Edit:.....yay for admin guns........could i borrow one for today...I want to go modder hunting...in my flea
LEZEN GARMEN.
"This is not a revolt, this is the final solution." Garmen's Epistle
Admin Guns/shields and Pie, now that makes for a great modder hunting extravaganza. Then after they are all dead there will be a joyus celebration involving dancing in leafy green vegetables, and in certain cases bananna peels.:yahoo:

Awarning and discussion beforehand? Not with these admins.
The cheaters had been on for a while, there was no need for urgency that couldn't wait a couple extra seconds for the best way to deal with it.
By using the same tactics the cheaters were using, with admin guns instead of cheater guns, how is that being better than the cheaters themselves?
Shouldn't the admins aspire to be the example every else should follow? How does pvp whoring someone set that example?

A Cheater shows blatant disregard for the community as a whole.
A Cheater makes a public statement that he holds us all in contempt.
A Cheater has no desire to add value, cheating by default shows your own selfish desire to further yourself at the cost of others.
When at any point, Cheating is used to kill another player unfairly, this is an act against a fellow player.
In my opinion, not perma-banning such people is far more grace than I would give.
No discussion is required when people make such statements.
I tried reasoning on my BoS Character, My Angel and on my normal Rp Character. If they want to chat to us about fairness they are welcome to take it up with us on the forums like everyone else.
As for setting an example: If you cheat, you get removed. Thats a great example in my opinion!
Without the presence of consequence, Anarchy shall run rampant.
Normal players report these activities without getting involved in the execution of Judgment. The Admins are our Justice and Executors of protection.
(HA HA.. as you may guess, I was the guy at school who picked fights with the bullies!)

The cheaters didn't care about the rules or even appearances, but I think most people would agree that the admins should.
Isn't it better to take the higher path, and simply ban these people without shooting anyone with admin guns? The cheaters enjoy pvp whoring, it's what they are here for. Why sink to their level?
