An urgent message to Kadesh Space Colony,

Please provide green docking rights to following groups and organizations: TAZ, OSI, MFE, Velvet, GMG.

Threat them well, they are our friends and partners. Make sure that kettle is always hot and we've supplied enough with cookies.

Though, keep an eye on them. We still haven't equipped anything on the Colony to scan incoming ships for infected persons. That's all for now.

Christian

Docking access to the listed groups and organisations have been granted effective immediately.

I will pass the word to our docking officers and station administrators to treat them like any other dignitaries in the colony. I will also personally oversee our station security and protocols behind the scenes to keep the infection risk to the bare minimum.

Fellow family, members, colonists,

I am pleased to inform everyone the construction of the Kadesh Orbital Colony is going well and according to plans. Over 90% of our station is now air tight and fully functional, and once again we are reviewing our blueprints archives to begin work on third stage of expansion. Needless to say, our past experience and know-how gained from the Phoenix Spaceport back in Zeta has help us tremendously in building our new home at a breakneck pace.

In addition, the first few transports dispatched to collect specialised construction material across Sirius has begun to dock home. This is impeccable timing for us as the supplies from our Great Voyage defensive flotilla has finally been depleted, and we can free up these ships for other tasks. Some of them will be reassigned to the recon squadron to bolster their ranks, and will patrol the immediate areas and surrounding systems against any nomad incursions. You may have already seen them leaving the dry dock earlier today for this reason.

Nonetheless, our Orbital Colony itself still have still some ways to go and improvements to be made before it is considered to be fully secure. In the meantime, I would advise everyone to be vigilant and keep an eye on any suspicious activity that would compromise station security or well being for all people in our new home.

- Alec

Urgent update - All ships are to avoid, or must depart from the systems of Aquitaine and Brittany effective immediately until further notice. Comply with local enforcement as required unless personal safety is compromised.

Communicating on behalf of the logistics department - They have just debriefed several of their transport captains, whom themselves and their crew had courageously volunteered to go ahead and gather supplies for our station before our neural net was fully re-established.

Overall, the consensus from these officer suggest there have been quite a few change to both the political landscape and spatial environment since we had last departed Sirius. Some astronomical objects and human constructs had been shifted due to stellar drift, direct intervention and other factors not yet known at this moment. However, majority of these changes are not significant and our skilled pilots were able to path-find and navigate against these setback with ease. Updated co-ordinates will be shared among us once we have reviewed the data integrity and mapped out the new stellar charts collected between the supply ships.

In regards to the urgent update, two of our transport ships dispatched to the tau-bretonia region had encountered Enclave patrols in the system of Orkney and Edinburgh, now known as Brittany and Aquitaine by the occupying forces. On both separate occasions they were escorted out of the system, and informed our ships are not welcomed until we have been granted passage by their leadership.

For those not familiar with house politics, Enclave are former Gallic Navy still loyal to the Crown after the change in government. Fortunately both of our transports Captain did both the right thing and complied to their demands, with their questions swiftly answered on what would happened if they did anything different - through the glimpse of Planet Leeds. It is as bad as the Colony News make out to be, a planet full of people and countless metropolis reduced to inhabitable nuclear wasteland by unspeakable acts of atrocity. A clear and stark reminder why we are out here and not in the core worlds. All ship should stay away from that region until proper diplomatic communications have been established and we have been granted passage to those systems.

As always, stay alert and fly safe.

Alec, thanks for sharing of detailed report with us.

War has no mercy, just as any great house power, if they feel strong enough they are looking at neighboring systems to consume what they are able to, depending on their greed. Don’t forget what Bretonia did for the Zoners in exchange, they just took over Gran Canaria, expect no resistance… After seeing such horrifying reports life here in deep Omicrons looks more... somehow safe and predictable.

We have to speak with the monster. We cannot miss the opportunity to trade with all places of the Sirius, just a reminder we are Zoners and should remain neutral with everyone, as far it would be possible not involving into any conflict. Furthermore, they were courteous enough to our transport convoys to escort out of the system, you know better than me how it would able to end.

Alec, I recently noticed ongoing construction works of the colony while patrolling nearbing systems. My scanners indicated hull integrity is almost tied-up, I think most of constructruction is already capable of maintaining life-support systems. Scanners do not indicate any significant air leak. Provide us with a report current status of ongoing construction works.

Quiron, do you hear me? I guess you are already returned from the stratosphere of Palmyra. Any results of the recon mission so far? We placed a big hope on Ontores project. Have you noticed any plato, which could be suitable for a heavy machinery landing zone? Nevertheless any basic information regarding the planet, its velocity, temperatures, geological activity would be a good start.

Hello Christian,

I hear you loud and clear.

Indeed, we finished our initial orbital flight through the designated part of Palmyra. While the harsh weather conditions at that time - especially snow storms - didn’t let us fully observe the surface with naked eye, we managed to send a few probes to the atmospheric level of the planet.

The data gathered by them provided us with a few possible locations which would deserve more research from us. I sent everything we have found - including my detailed report - to the database of our internal network on Kadesh. When you will look through them, let me recommend to your attention one particular area code named PHS-0144F. There is a somewhat even, 73,2 sq km plateau, probably suitable for landing. It is surrounded by mountains from the north and by a deep gap from the south.

The outstanding thing compared to the other areas is that the probe sent there was able to collect traces of methane from the air. Though it was a really small amount, there could be a possible leakage from the subsurface level of it, so the potential of some kind of energy source for our future project is there. I would suggest further investigation in that matter with our professionals as well.

Stay safe,
Quiron

To update on the nomad fleet sighted in Kappa recently, earlier that day our liaisons stationed in Freeport 11 had heard rumours a new type of nomad dreadnought was spotted in the vicinity. They urgently contacted the Reconnaissance and Rapid Response (RARR) department and in reply dispatched a small wing fighters to investigate the claims.

Our fighters had no trouble finding the ship, a large nomad fleet was roaming the system and in the centre was the rumoured threat. On first glance the ship appears to be a standard Ish'tar class dreadnought, but our pilots noted it had some sort of energy rings emanating from its core, which the standard class didn't have. It also seems the rumour had became general knowledge, as a sizeable human fleet with a mixture of Core, Order and Zoner ships had already gathered preparing to attack. What our pilot then saw became blindingly obvious how much more power this new threat holds. Any ship trained on by the new weapon was soon to be vaporised by its intensive laser weapons in less than a minute. The field was soon littered with disabled warships all around.

Fortunately, with all the factions temporarily united towards a common cause, there was enough firepower to sink this new threat after a prolonged engagement. In addition, our combat data analysts having reviewed the aftermath suggest the ship had a very abnormal growth, and must have taken the nomads a very long time to plan this. Unlikely they can generate this ship en masse but it is still a very concerning what they can achieve and their true plan with this encounter remains unknown. It is also worth noting from this incident that we lack a specialised reconnaissance vehicle. A dedicated ship of this type could have detected such anomalies in advance rather than relying on rumours which could cost lives.

------------

On a separate note, our fighters somehow managed to acquire what we believe to be unknown energy source; salvaged from a nomad warship wreckage after the battle.

Frustratingly, as all of our dedicated science team and lab equipment are separated with the Great Voyage homeships, we currently do not have the means to identify what exactly this thing is. Nonetheless, we have ran the security checks and concluded this alien construct is not "alive". For the moment we have stored this item in a Beryllium safe box, secured in our monitored vault until we have the right people to analyse it.

- Alec

Acknowledged, Quiron. Although the area known as PHS-0144F looks acceptable, further investigations of the region is required. In a particular case I suggest to deploy a small on surface automated facility, it should collect information of on surface climate changes, it will help us a lot to understand the nature of this planet. Furthermore the facility should be equipped with seismic sensors. It will give us more information regarding proper location of Ontores settlement likewise if we will notice lithosphere plates movements and Palmyra mantles, it could be useful source of cheap heating of underground colony, not to mention other valuable resources close to surface.

Neverthless we should start more regulated stratosphere recon missions. Kadesh will provide us a perfect spot for base of operations, use any chance to scout before unknown planet side areas, free of snowstorms, we need collect more data regarding Palmyra platoes to choose the best one that would fit as safe location.

As you probably aware of, we haven't any planetside equipment which would fulfill our needs over Palmyra. We need some specialists who would be able to construct such equipment. Perhaps, we should contact Planetform. It was a first idea that came to my mind, although I'm ready to listen to your sugestions.

Alec, this monstrous vessel made our right approach - anchored homeships to Kadesh have more chances to strike back. Furthermore I’m glad to see that humans could unite against real enemy of humanity… As for the present from Nomads, we will take care of it as we will have in our ranks proper people and equipment. Good work.

My family, I glad to announce that construction and repair works onboard Kadesh Orbital Colony for now are complete. We are further ready to extend its capabilities and room space, but in first place our people need to habitate.

Accordingly homeships known as "Athena" and "Phoenix" stand by for mooring protocols. We are in need to settledown our people on Kadesh as much it's possible, most of our ships are require repairs after Great Voyage. Fortunately our engineers are capable of quality works in open space, they learnt our ships enough while we’ve been on Voyage, but, places inhabited by people cannot be repaired, we couldn’t stop lifesupport systems until they disembark.
