"If that is what GC has become then I do not support that side of them. But it will be very hard to split my ties with them. I think I will try to convince them to change before I decide to give up that cause." Keiko seemed to have a little of discouragement in her voice as if what Izumi said disturbed her.
"There is little diference between us two, and this is why i treat you with honor. We both do what we think is right. But do you know what is main diference between GC and KSP?"
"One of them would rather have me locked away here because my beliefs are a little more extreme than they would like." Keiko responded emotionlessly.
"While the other, at least the part that I know and believe there are still sisters who believe this way, believe that the Kusari government is corrupt and should be changed by any means necessary."
Izumi slowly nodded. "There is another part of your struggle Keiko. Every day i have to sign a document full of names, that died in service. What is worse, you get use to it. You just can't create good thing covered with blood." said Izumi slowly looking into Keiko eyes.
"You ask me to not hate KSP. But that I cannot do. KSP has killed my best freinds, and even worse, my own mother." Keiko said the last part softly so that if you werent listening maybe you wouldnt hear it.
Izumi slowly reached her hand towards Keiko to touch her hand. "I'm not here to justify all wrongs that has been done. I'm aware corruption that goes through Kusari. Golden Chrysamtemus and Blood dragons are fighting it. But not like this Keiko. Not like this. There are still Officers that dont care about politics and corrupution and they are tortured and executed because they have uniforms. There are woman like you Keiko that would end up locked for eternity because you were squadron leader. This circle of murders and hate has to stop. We dont kill some random people. We kill Kusari citizens. When KSP kills GC in revenge there will be more to replace them because of that death. If your sisters will KSP officers relatives of killed will join KNF or KSP to avenge death. THIS HAS TO STOP!" Insisted Izumi and made strong grip on Keiko hand.
Keiko looked down, slightly ashamed of the conversation. What Izumi said made sense, but unfortunately Keiko knew that a Kusari woman and a Half Kusari criminal could not make the changes she was speaking of.
"I agree with you. I do. But noone will listen. You can try. You can scream it at the top of your lungs. But the Kusari government is seated in too much masculinity, too much bloodshed. They will not listen. I promise you they will not."
Izumi suddenly smiled. "I dont need whole goverment to change. You listened, you understood. And this is the begining i'm looking for. For long years women liike you were locked down without reasoning, without discussion. You are the future of ending this bloodshed. And as Kantoku i decided to move you from this prison to Kyushu prison with more freedom. Our interview is over miss Keiko." Izumi took her Datapad and stood up and then hesitated for a moment.
"Miss Keiko, can i have a question on you?" she asked
"Yes what is your question" Keiko asked as the guards unlocked her from her restraints and prepared to bring her back to her cell. She was glad to be moved to Kyushu. She heard it was less cramped in Kyushu prison and several of her sisters were there as well.
