522nd cannot exist by themselves. They cant fund themselves. They cant supply themselves. They must as such become part of another faction to exist.

Well, they can if they can find an actual "hard" ally with the means and will to support them. that's pretty problematic here though.

If you use armed forces ID, that would erupt in open warfare with bretonia... I seriously doubt bretonia, the closest ally of Liberty, would support a rogue naval/marine/whatever battlegroup.

Ypu sign up with the LR we'll have that carrier in pieces figuring out how it ticks along with any other piece of Naval hardware we can get our hands on. You'll be in pirate fighters by the end of the week. Logically we wouldn't be able to pass up an opportunity to go over these ships with a fine tootth comb to find any weakness we could.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
