Greetings,

Yesterday the Insurgency forces enforced a blockade of the New York Jump Gate in California. For this matter, the Insurgency forces had deployed several warships such as the Discovery, the Amenhotep, the Libertine and Helf the Automaton for the battleships. The battlecruiser Angel alongside the cruisers Liberator and Helena were supporting our main capital vessels.

Quickly our scouts reported that a large Navy fleet was gathering in New York to break the blockade. Angel and Helena managed to lure the Navy forces till California. However their forces were superior than expected and thus a though battle started. Libertine, Helf the Automaton and Angel quickly suffered critical damage and were unable to continue the fight. Despite this, the remaining forces stormed the Navy forces which lost their main assets. A total of five Navy warships have been disabled.

After the main brawl was over, the Discovery, Amenhotep, Liberator and Helena moved towards the Whitney Ice Field before to move back to Fontana Freeport. Though Navy bombers kept harassing us and they managed to disable Helena at the cost of one of them. The Amenhotep and Discovery didn't suffer any damage during the whole battle.

Admiral,

Our planned operation to steal the parked Battlecruisers sat in Curacao orbit was not as successful as I'd have liked it to have been - It would seem the second Cruiser our teams had boarded had far more crew than we were anticipating, they were overwhelmed and the team was lost.

That's not to say this was entirely for naught, while the Navy did manage to intercept our fighter wing escorting the other battlecruiser from the system, they successfully managed to delay the Navy long enough for our boarding team to get the ship out of the system.

The ship was returned to Vespucci via Magellan without much more trouble, I've left it on Leniex for now til we can ascertain what the Bretonian's had stripped off and what they'd left in tact.

Hopefully we'll be able to make use of it.

A few INS capital ships, Rogue counterparts, and I went on a routine patrol mission this evening in the California system. A few Navy vessels were spotted near the battlefield behind Planet California. Hostiles arrived in 3 waves with approximately 3-4 warships each. With our valiant effort, we successfully defeated the heretics in a one-hour standoff. I'd like to thank SNS-Miami, INS-Renegade, Boter, Loli.Pop, and George.DaIton for their brave contribution.

Fellow Heroes,

Today on a routine solo patrol I stumbled across multiple hostile capital vessels in California, engaged with Insurgency forces.
Upon analyzing the situation I have decided to move closer, investigate their fleet composition and armaments, while contacting HQ for reinforcements.

After obtaining all the necessary information I proceeded to move to longer distance and began to harass their fleet, to make time for our ships to arrive. One of my colleagues wondered what I plan on doing against 4 capital vessels on one bomber, but I didn't join The Insurgency to play it safe.

Part of their fleet then proceeds to underestimate what is happening. Only the LSF agent seemed to understand the magnitude of the threat my presence was posing

After barely getting out alive from the LSF onslaught where I had to use all my sneaky evasive maneuvers Lane Hackers taught me, reinforcements have finally arrived.
Amy West herself joined in another bomber and our new dreadnought Democracy was deployed for it's maiden battle voyage under Insurgency flag.

The Navy fleet seemed disorganised, and our two bombers and a lone capital vessel managed to handle 4 capital vessels while taking only moderate damage. Their LSF Agent seemed like the biggest threat, was the last hostile ship standing and I am very happy to have helped in it's dismantling - I do advise caution when dealing with their agents, as they do seem like reasonably skilled pilots, and were onto my delaying tactic harrasmnent strategy.

Subject: Enterprise maiden voyage. Combat in California and Pennsylvania.

Good evening.

After appropriate repairs provided on Leniex, Enterprise have relocated to California and entered active service under it's new banners, engaging in offensive operations against local heavy Naval assets in California. First target was an LSF Interdictor, LNS-Ranger that preferred to save himself and the ship's crew instead of taking actual combat it's commander expressed intention to engage in. The contact with said warships was lost at Los Angeles and it was decided not to chase it in unidentified direction. It only graced us with just a couple decoy messages.

However, it was not long before new targets resurfaced on radar. This time, identified as Epsilon-3, Atlantis-class carrier, and PAULxW, Overlord-class Dreadnought. Due to limited availability of engine disruption support it was decided to focus on a single target instead of letting both of them to escape. Assault carrier utilised the window to engage cruise engines and leave his comrades behind, and the Overlord itself attempted little resistance, instead opting to try and surrender in the wake of the overwhelming force. I opted not to reason with the insurgent and complete the demolition of the vessel, despite it's commander pledging for mercy.

Another Interdictor-class battlecruiser, Indianapolis, arrived to Riverside, as Enterprise accompanied by Beta-3 have planned to return to base of operations - and chose to fight, despite the overwhelming odds. Bravery bordering on stupidity is what constituted for their downfall. Signifying the destruction of Indianapolis, i have opted for Enterprise and Beta-3 to retreat back to initial disposition.

On the way to Fontana Freeport, a light fighter have entered scanner range and, despite all warnings, chose to close distance and engage in combat with Beta-3, but was mowed down by Enterprise's point defense batteries, allowing himself to get distracted, despite being engaged in combat.

Later this day, after being called upon by Jarvis Riddle i have directed Enterprise to Pennsylvania system. Upon joining up with Heroica in the Appalachian Asteroid Field, me and Riddle pressed on to Philadelphia station - and that is where our targets have soon appeared, the force composed of Liberty siege cruiser, assault battlecruiser Florida and assault carrier Epsilon-3, that managed to escape the grasp of Enterprise earlier. With numbers on their side and confident in their advantage thought it is a good idea to separate their attention and leave the siege cruiser to deal with Heroica, and this is what have turned the tide of battle. Having our own strike craft joining us in the heat of combat - something that Navy have been outright neglecting this entire time - Heroica and Enterprise managed to destroy the assault carrier with joint fire and force the assault battlecruiser to chose crash landing on Dudley instead of being sent back to shipyard for repairs.

With the conclusion of this minor incrusion both Enterprise and Heroica have retreated to Kansas, mooring to Mulvane outpost for field repairs and resupplying.

This update is for the record, and to log another milestone.

ARCTURUS left Leniex's docking booms early today after a successful weapons test and final preparations. She mobilized towards California under her own power, and her shakedown run began.

ARCTURUS arrived in California, mobilizing for the high-action zone near Planet California Minor. Upon arrival, we were met with a 'Captain Chris' aboard Osiris-class battleship L.N.S. Ahketaten, as well as further secondary forces of the Liberty Navy, though they seemed to heed orders to engage for once.
Ahketaten moved to engage, leading ARCTURUS on a chase. We proved victorious, though not without substantial damage sustained to the ship's hull. Ahketaten was disabled, and with approaching support from AMENHOTEP and LIBERATOR, the Navy forces booked a hasty retreat. This support gave us time to move ARCTURUS out of weapons range and into the Whitney Field, where she was seen to by friendly engineers aboard Alcatraz.

ARCTURUS performed flawlessly given the situation at hand. Task Force Broadsword, once active, will likely be a potent weapon for our operations going forward.

Friends,

Long story short, I got sick and tired of being called a wuss that hides in big ships and shoots from afar in my bomber in Fort Riley ...so I hopped into an Avenger today.

And actually popped my fighter cherry in disabling an equally new police officer named Sol Ciaphas near Manhattan!
I don't feel too bad about it since apparently he just joined the wrong side for the paycheck.

Now, it does feel lonely in a small ship without my crew, and I did get my ass handed to me countless times before this - but perhaps I will take my Avenger for a spin more often in the name of better Liberty.

What a joy the be part of The Insurgency - today we were sent along with 8 other fighters to distract the forces around Sugarland, while our operatives boarded and hijacked a whole load of prisoners important to our cause.

Not only we have managed that, but also suffered minimal losses in the process
