Greetings Friends

today the Red Velvet Club was on a Supply Run for the OS&C bars on Huston, we delivered some Whiskey from the Battleship Hood in Dublin. in the California System, we came Across an Insurgent Battlegroup. Consisting of INS-Renegade an Arbiter Battleship, INS-Gallant.Gallows A Liberty Battlecruiser and Non.Sequitur an Archer Sige Cruiser. as we wanted to Jump into New York to get to Safety the Liberty Navy Arrived and i decided to stay and lend some Mecdical Support if needed, with the Battleship 5th|LNS-Vermont, the Carrier LNS-Alabama and the Gunboat 5th|LNS-Loyalist. later came LPI Luietanant Isla Namazuki and her Battlecruiser LPI-SWAT-Elizabeth to the Battle and sealed the Fate of the Insurgents. all insurgent Ships where Destroyed. I was able to make some Pictures of the Battle, all in all, it was an impressive show of Force, my Crew and I had a Breathtaking view and after the Battle, we Assisted in the Search for Survivors and were able to Save at least one Insurgent Pilot we handed over to the Officials. I hope the Navy saved some More.

My Friends at Orbital,

As we continue to expand to new horizons I have found that a few of the reference guides we hand out to our newest Orbital Captains have become terribly outdated. Some of these guides still reference priority routes to the Mackinac for Pete's Sake! In order to expedite the update process we are enlisting your help. Please see the attached form and list out your two top performing routes. All employees who fill out this form will receive a one off 25 million credit bonus!

Captain Hammond of the Tierra del Fuego has provided an example below and the form itself is included below that. All employees are advised in order to be eligible for the bonus that this form needs to be filled out and returned here by the 17th of July, 827.

*A video-feed opens up with a tired looking Theobald Franklin. He sighs and closes his eyes, rests his head in hins hands and lets a minute slip past, befor he starts to speak. His voice is calm, but one notices he is not his usual self.*

Greetings dear Collagues, Director Seabourne and especially Subdirector Falkner!

I bring grave news today, news I regret to have to tell. Where do I begin?

You all know, that we had a major problem last week when leaving the Hawaii and were in the process of restocking the Reverie. During our restock tour we passed through Omega-3. After a stop at Freeport 1 we continued yesterday and were en-route to Rheinland. Directly in front of the Jumpgate to Omega-7 we were stopped by a Junker Fighter. He simply fired a few Cruise-Disrupters at us. Normaly this is not surprising for us, we all know the deal with pirates.

*Franklin pauses, closes his eyes again. When he opens them again, they are ablaze with fury.*

But what then happened was unthinkable! Not that this ... filth said anything, he started shooting imideatly! And not anything but a Civilian Antimatter Cannon to boot! Naturally it wiped out our shield in one shot.

*he sighs again, but continues to get heated again.*

Alright if he wanted to get my anttention he got it and I braced for his demands, besides "Cut your engines, or you die." But did he stop? NO! He fired on, rained with his Purple Godessess on our hull! We had to put Nanobots to use, before he even uttered a single word! And what did he want after dealing heavy damage to us? 2 Million Credits! But did he stop firing? NO! You think he would give us time to answer, but hell no, he just continued.

*Franklin starts to shout.*

Of course we returned fire and tried to fend him off! We also called for help, because we met the BAF Battleship Dreadnaught earlier on at Freeport 1 and indeed the appeared and targeted the Junker.

*He inhales deeply and pauses a bit, before continuing but still heated up*

We were toled to leave the area, so we jumped to Omega-7, counting that the Junker will follow, and so he did. We were not able to reach the tradelane in time, before the Junker didsabled it and the Dreadnaught was not able to reach us in time.

*Theabald closes his eyes and he looks suddenly totaly defeated*

I don't know exactly how it happened, but I think it was my fault. I should have been more cool, more communicative with this Junker. But his attitude made me so angry. Firing and not stopping, before saying anything. We were lucky that we had no passangers on board, only the standard crew, or it would have been a catastrophic day for us as well as for Orbital.

*He sighs and fixes the screen*

The Junker with the callsign Silver-Chariot fired upon Reverie and dealt near fatal damage to her. I have not seen what remains of her, I await a call from the Freeport 1 Technical Staff who went out to reclaim what is left from the Liner. I was not able to send an evacuation signal througout the sip, before I was nocked unconsious, but someone must have put me into an escape pod. I heared that close to 100 people got off the ship. That means 50 or more crew members missing or dead. I really thought that with BAF support we could escape. I was wrong and people payed the price for my mistake.

*Franklin pauses again. This incident really took his toll and he looks older. No trace of the once sunny mood is to be seen.*

I, Captain Theobald Franklin, deeply apologise for what happened. If the Reverie is salvagable I will pay myself for the renovations and especially for some upgrades. I never counted for any heavy combat with her, since we do not venture out into the edge worlds like The Red Velvet Club. But maybe it is time to invest into heavier armor and some weapons who are more suited for fending off smaller crafts. If anybody has some suggestions for this, I would be very grateful.

*Theobald fixes the screen again. He seems more calm now but is very firm in his words*

I hearby want a bounty on the head of the Junker Silver-Chariot. And no matter how high, I will put an extra 5 Million Sirian Credits out of my personal funds if the one who claims it is able to deliver the following message: "Next time try talking nicely first."
I as well as everybody else from Orbital has no problem in paying the pirates. And I have seen a lot of it in my time. I have normaly no problem with being shot at. But one should be able to answer demands, without having the hull pannels flying around his head while doing it.

I am Shocked as a Born Junker I never expected something like this to happen, but well the Junkers were never a Real Organisation more a loose Gathering of ships. but to have Such a Lunatic fly under the Colors of my Childhood is my Worst Nightmare. Theobald, you are not alone I feel your pain, I Experienced the same as the Hessian Torpedos hit my Velvet. but there is Hope my Friend our Liners are Sturdyer than one might think, and I am sure the Reverie will Return to the Stars Theobald. and you have my Limitless Support, and I don't know what Armor the Reverie have at the moment but I should have a MK 6 Laying around in one of Tritons Warehouses She is Yours, my Friend. for your Question about Protection, I have Recently installed a Flak System on the Velvet the "BLH-5 Denier Transport EMP Defense Turrents" to Intercept Torpedos and Missiles, it's also a Good Lightshow for the Guests. as for Smal Figher Defense, I would advise the "CT-402 Dulzian Turrents", but be aware that they are Powerhungry and have a Poor Range. but there Rapid Fire Rate is a Threat to any Fighter. you could Combine them with "CT-402 Charon Turrents" Like the Velvet have on Board. we Chose the Full Set as the Turrents have the Best Damage and Fire Range on the Civilian Market, but they have a Low Fire Rate. I Chose a Big Punch rather than a Mix of Both, but you Know me I Like Big Guns. and for that Bastard that Brought so Much Pain to the Reverie, he Will gets his Punishment and when I have to Hunt him Myself. Therefore I will add another 5 Million to that Bounty, to make Sure he Feels the Pain he Brought to you Himself.

I'm glad you made it out safely, good captains are harder to replace than good ships. You'll have some letters to write for the crew that wasn't so fortunate, but reading your report indicates nothing to me that you acted inappropriately. You managed to leave the system AND called in support from BAF, sometimes you just roll the hard six.
I'd say to get Reverie back to a freeport and focus on getting her repaired and better prepared for the next crisis we captains all inevitably have hanging over our heads, but you're already several steps ahead of me on that front. And let Falkner do what he does best.

If you need to talk to a fellow Captain about losing a ship, my schedule is always open.

My Friends at Orbital,

As part of our further reach program we had commissioned a Taurus shuttle and had it modified for deep space transportation. She was commissioned as the OS&C|TE-Pony.Express and I eagerly had her entered into service with her first flight being a 10 passenger charter to Freeport 11 in the Delta system from our field office aboard Freeport 9.

While en-route to Freeport 11 we did come across a pair of Zoner warships engaged in what they referred to as "housekeeping", which was quite spectacular for our small contingent of travelers. We included a rather impressive photo below. We'll be here for a day while we find some travelers to return to Theta with.

Greetings friends,

I was carrying VIPs to Bethlehem where I found myself shooting the breeze with LPI-Isla.Nazumaki[Lt] at West Point. The officer's complaints about New York being quiet seemed to reach the ears of the gods of irony, for out of the Badlands tradelane came an Albatross filled to the brim with slaves. Lt. Nazumaki made the stop on the Hero_of_the_year and I volunteered Breezewood to ferry the slaves to a final destination. I had to offload the VIPs on Manhattan (my apologies to the Liberty office for dumping all of those requests for connecting flights on you!) and return to West Point to take on the contrabands. Nazumaki escorted me to Manhattan where I transferred the enslaved persons to LPI medical for processing, at which point Nazumaki compensated Breezewood for her time without me asking. "Consider these a 'gift' for doing teh LPI's dirty work," they said.

I'm never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, so I accepted the funds graciously. It's always a good idea to endear ourselves to house navies and law enforcement, but I will never say no to extra credits if it means getting to do the right thing, too. Plus, for a single tradelane journey, Breezewood got the be the most stylish slaver in the sector.
Yet another title to throw on the old girl.

today I was on my way back to Liberty from he Borderworlds with a Load of Iridium, as I was Shoot out of the Lane to Mannheim Station by a Nomad Fighter. the Litle One Communicated with me First and showed me an Inured Pilot I didn't Saw. I think the Nomad shoot Down the Poor Girl Himself, and the Pilot was in a bad shape. but we managed to Bring her to Manheim, and wanted to Continue our Tripp but the Nomad had Other Plans. as we Departed for the New Berlin Jumpgate he Stoped us again, but this time the Litle One wasn't that friendly. he Threatened us and Opened Fire, and hadn't the Rheinland Battleship Ernemia Showed up I am Sure my ship would have Ben Destroyed. together with the Battleship, I was Able to Defend Myself against the Nomad. and Returned to Manheim I will wait now till the Nomad Disaperes and then Continue my way to Liberty.
