L.I.A. Chimera, Interdictor Class Battlecruiser, Texas System, Liberty Space
26th July 827 A.S.

Marcus was sitting in his office reading through the most recent reports enjoying what remained from the cigar he was smoking. The room was fairly large originally designed for the ship's XO to be used as an office and personal quarter. Originally designed for the navy the agency made some special changes to the ship to fulfill their needs. For all intents and purposes this ship was their primary base of operations and headquarters and it showed. Most space that was freed up was repurposed as either a small office, an interrorgation room or a situation room where the agency's operations can be monitored and commanded from without the need to use CIC and possibly interfere with CIC operations.

Just as Marcus was about to drop the cigar into the ashtray he recieved a call on his communicator. "Sir the officers from the navy just landed in the hangar bay."

"Good. Tell the guards to escort them to the conference room. I'll be right there"
The agent replied with a quick yes sir and Marcus closed the communication chanel. He stood up and grabbed a datapad from his desk then made his way to the door and stepped out heading towards the conference room. Knowing he'd only arrive after the people were already there.

Commodore Alice Shepard was put in charge of this problem that is the Liberty intelligence Agency. One of their agents had left a Lt. Commander to fight a known terrorist and assassin alone and the Lt. Comm. suffered injuries. Shepard was none to pleased after reading the after action report and wanted answers. This was when Admiralty dispatched her and some of R&D Agents to accompany Shepard to get to the bottom of this. As the Vermont approached the Battlecruiser Chimera Shepard and two Agents boarded a small shuttle and began docking procedures. The Vermont XO Kelly Marshall had control of the Vermont and monitored the perimeter. Two Squadrons disembarked the Vermont and began patrolling the area. It was clear Marshall's intention was more geared towards the safety of the Commodore rather then the security of this meeting.

Alice and the two agents were escorted to the conference room and awaited the Deputy Director. Hope he does not take to long.

Conference Room, L.I.A. Chimera

A few minutes had passed when the door finally opened and Marcus walked into the room. A long table sat in the center with chairs surrounding it. Three chairs were occupied by the navy officers. Behind them on the wall was a screen with the agency's logo on it. He looked at the officers and thanked the escort agents signaling them to leave. As they left and closed the door behind them Marcus walked towards a chair at the end of the long table placed the datapad on the table than sat down.

"Greetings. I'm Marcus Jefferson, Deputy Director of LIA. Hope you didn't have to wait too long. Believe me we want this issue resolved as quickly as possible."

As shepard waits she checks on Marshall and she reports the perimeter is clean and sits patiently waiting for Jefferson.

Well lets try this again shall we? What are these files you have? I also want to know if the Agent is locked in the brig or if he has been permitted to leave?

Marcus hands them a datapad. On the screen they see what seems to be a contract or agreement.

"Before we discuss this any further i need you and your adjutants to sign this. A non disclosure agreement. After that i'll be able to tell you whats this all about. On the other hand regarding the agent in question. He is curently in one of our planetside facilities. One he does not know the location of. He is being interorgated for now and as soon as we got all information out of him, agents will dispose of him. Permanently."

Right before Shepard and her Cohorts sign the NDA

I will sign this under the condition that I can at least share the information with the 5th Admiralty.

"So be it. But remember any and all documents that fall under this agreement are strictly eyes only. In addition recording or documenting this briefing in any way shape or form is forbiden as outlined in article 3 paragraph 4. I know this is a bit inconvinient but this is protocol. If you wish to join this investigation all your officers involved would have to work from this vessel. Also I know you know this but breaking any part of this NDA falls under the crime of espionage and treason. If theese conditions are acceptable sign the agreement and let us move on."
