Zoner trading routes with The Order

Hi everyone,

after jumping back after a good couple of years into the game (last time was the 4,86 launch) I want to trade with The Order as a Zoner (you know, since they protect us and stuff). What are some decent trading routes one might make as a Zoner to trade with The Order? It has to be with The Order specifically (well at least make a stop there) as I've always liked the faction, and back in the days used to fly with them.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, even more so as I can't get FLCompanion and FLStat to run with Discovery FL- Companion shows only base game values, FLStat straight up does not see Freelancer.

Planet Akabat is a great place for a start and end point, they sell Palladium which is brought almost universally (as far as Zoner house docking restrictions go), and they also sell Kemwer Munitions (contraband in some regions) which you can smuggle to certain unlawful bases.

AS for FLCompanion and FLStats, make sure the program is reading the correct Disco FL directory (normally in - C:\Users\YOUR PC NAME\AppData\Local\Discovery Freelancer 4.91.0) and it should work.

You may also need to reload .ini files in FLStat manually, After a server update as well. Even then high end commodities like Ore, H3 and artifacts will not show sell points for those mine-able items. In those cases its best to ask /look in forums for more info. Even I have a tough time with these, and I'm the faction trade guy. Props to Alvin for all the advice he gives me and everyone else.

There is a couple of POB's in O-Delta in the NE corner that sell Iridium Ore. Take that to Sabath Shipyard in Coronado. Then use JH to go to Cortez, go to planet and buy tea and take that to FP11 in O-Delta.

There is also Iejima Station in o-59 that sells H3. That sells for about 7k just two systems away at Akabat in O-Mu. I'll do that and Bring back base supplies for Iejima for quick and easy money, although it sells for over 10k at Aland Shipyard. Bring back Platinum to Nigata Star City if your doing that.

If POB owners haven't restocked and you cant get ore, my fave route is Kemwers from Akabat to Zhukovsky Station in Omega-52 and Returning with Volgograd Munitions. Drop those at Cairo Station in Omicron Sigma and continue on to Akabat for more Kemwers. I love this route. Whale friendly, no trade lanes and no lawful's or pirates to harass you.

I hope that helps a little. We really need to get things like the Mining Guide updated whenever the sell points change. As it stands now there is little if any info available for commodities sold via POB's.

Holy, thanks a lot Alvin, this really does help a lot. I've managed to get FLCompanion to get up and running, only problem with Palladium at Akbat is I cant make a fast jump through Alaska with a train, as the only connection is through an unstable jumphole. Your routes really open up some possibilities, I'll check them out soon!

Another, more profitable way is to go to Kansas, get Copper Ore and sell it to Alabama Shipyard in Rho. I've had about 120-140M per round

Uncut Diamonds from Omega-2 to Malta and Niobium or Mollybdenum ore back to Aland shipyard is another profitable route I've used when I was a zoner of Velvet.

Iridium ore to Sabah in Coronado and Raw Hydrocarbones to Zoner station in Kappa (Corith, iirc) is another good route you can use.

Also, there is a route for cardamine trade: Cardamine to Core station in Rho (near gas giant) and iridium ore to venice shipyard.

Thank you, I'll check some of those out as well, though my reputation with Corsairs and others probably won't let me do some of them. By the way, any ideas why can't I use the Omicron Beta jumphole in Omicron Xi? It just says dock denied, FLCompanions says to go through it but my train just won't jump.

Glad you managed to get it working. I find Disco trade routes are fairly "balanced", so If FLCompanion is screaming a route that is 1.5x - 3x more profitable p/sec than the other good routes then it is mostly likely involve Snub / Freighter only wormhole or planetary docking (eg Planet Tomika, Kurile etc).
