I come to you upon the behalf of the Technocracy's Omicron Division operating within this region, seeking to browse for suppliers and collaborators within the Edge Worlds. To my interests, I have noted that a subordinate of mine operating in the region had briefly spoke to you. Your organisation extracts Iridium Ore from what we understand... and you have a strong distaste for the Core, that puts us on good terms.
Indulge me. What prices do you export this ore for?
Yes I received the report from the ship we had charting the Jumpholes in Delta. I believe your vessel was curious if we were potentially Core collaborators. Don't think we support them just because we're on their tax rolls, let me assure you. Currently we are selling our ore for 3200 Sirian Credits. I hope next time we speak you might tell me who you are sir. I must say you have me at a mild disadvantage here.
Richard Regan. I apologise, I would have assumed you read my tagline in the transmission. I am an Overseer, designated name Sentinel 30, positioned Sentinel in the Transhuman Augmentation Forces of the Technocracy's Military. My purpose is to oversee operations in the Edge Worlds.
What would your rates be for an on-site harvest? We might be able to broker a deal, perhaps...
Ah yes. I did see that but you must forgive me, I was not very familiar with your group until your last message led me on a bit of research. Your group is quite fascinating to say the least, and I find your groups research into bio-augmentation very intriguing to say the least. I've been so bloody busy lately that a new sub-processor sounds quite handy right now.
As far as on site Harvest, DMC Field officers are authorized to pay a standard 1000 credits for each unit mined/hauled. The base is currently full, so we likely wont be mining for a few days. I should also point out that we do have an arrangement with our friends at ~TIC~ where we share mining/hauling expenditures and in essence fill each others holding facilities at no charge to each other. A bit of Qid-pro-quo if you will. That is not to say we would not like to work with you of course. We are always open to working with 'like minded' groups and individuals.
I hope that is able to satisfy you. You should of course have no issue docking at our facility if you do choose to purchase from us or simply pay a visit.
Let us help each other out to give benefit, we can offer you some materials supplied to your station, perhaps... say, some Robotic Hardware, to perhaps potentially assist us in filling our vessels at a discounted price?
Again please forgive my long delay in response. DMC experienced a massive power loss and had been adrift for over a week. We have regained control and have re-positioned the base in a safer area. Currently we are getting systems back online and are resuming normal operations as best as possible
We are always happy to accept trade from any non-hostile enemy's, but you should be aware of the delicate position we are in. I am more familiar with your group and your relations with other groups in the Omicrons. Your diplomatic status is really of little concern to me, as long as your peaceful. You are free to request of any DMC tagged vessel for loading provided that you do not cause any issue with the other organizations who we are also engaged with trade with. DMC is attempting to stay neutral to all lawful entities and at this point does not restrict docking or trade with anyone. So I am merely asking that while accessing our services you and your keep as low a profile as possible as to not create a misunderstanding that would force us to re-consider. I ask of you and your group to treat us like a Freeport. Respect those who also trade with us even if you don't agree with them and there wont be a problem.
As far as any discounting goes, I am afraid we do not have any specific need of any imported materials at this point. This will change however once initial hull construction of the base is complete and we move towards core upgrades. Most of our available storage is dedicated to Ore and the base will not accept items such as Hull Segments, Reinforced Alloys and Robotic Hardware as our limited storage requires constant management by our warehouse team and deliveries must be scheduled on an 'as needed' basis.
That being said I have instructed my field officers to determine mining prices by immediate needs of the base facility. Discounts can be negotiated in the field by officers depending on varying factors. We will be making some adjusting to our pricing in the next 24 hours, now that we have the comms array back online and can update base info on the station network. Generally you can expect to pay approx. 20% of max sell value of ore in the field and 25% on base. In all honestly the best way to get a discount is to offer hauling services to our miners, we are perpetually short staffed and you could likely get filled for next to nothing.
Please feel free to contact us further in regards to this matter.
