The players who blow up pobs are almost never interested in "a healthy dialogue". If they talk to you at all, it's to get you to submit to them completely or get blown up. But unfortunately the real problem doesnt even come from people who decide to blow up pobs. The real problem is that discoverygc, at the very core of the community, has this sandcastle/turf mentality literally everywhere, in which it's mostly about who has the power and rarely about reaching the best outcome through collaboration. That's at the core of why rules arent adapted to reduce pob drama, why even the most basic measures of user friendliness arent implemented by devs, why problems with system layout that are widely known since 2013 arent being addressed, why there is no code of conduct that leaders can be held to. Because those things are always part of "someone's turf" whose only motivation is to keep others off their turf.

Well, O-55 just gave big things for junkers, while they are right now absolutely useless for anybody in region on this place (could be useful for sairs tho). So speak frankly, right now we just doesnt see junkers in O-55 as subject with who have sense to speak. Sorry, but its your value in our eyes, so we just remove everything without asking, because we dont need to.
Be sure tho, if you will try reach us inRP you will get answer. We dont consider you as enemies, just as weird thing which currently have no use for us.
Sad thing is you go blow some new base that new guys(faction) have just build and still learning how to maintain and RP instead of helping them. Nothing good in few caps go shoot easy kill base.
Yeah, several group of bullies are existing who do it.
They even think that they greatly 'help' and 'do better' for our community through their actions
I can give you few advices if needed about it.
Too bad administration does nothing about it. P.S. actually they made rule about reasonable demands to PoBs... but did you see siegers upholding it? Did you see GMs enforcing this rule? Nah.
And btw, they all for some reason think, they do 'great RP'. great RP where they rarely even communicate sieged bases . Hehe, no demand, nothing is unreasonable I guess, right? They just go destroying without demands
I think... there could be some close solutions to resove it... I ll think of smth which can be done in a short time.

To be honest, why should new players suddenly get different treatment than anyone else? - If this community decided to give newbies a free pass to set up and be left alone, you'd get people making forum account alts and pretending to be new, just so they could set up a base somewhere and be all protected with this 'newbie immunity'.
No. - We all had to learn the hard way once upon a time. I firmly disagree with the mindset of applying a handicap to new players. They should be aware of the way things are. It ain't perfect, but it is what it is and we shouldn't sugar coat that.
Edit1: Helping new players along however, showing them the ropes. Giving them the tools to survive. Damn straight, lets do that.
Edit2: A lesson has been learnt from this now, if people want to step up and actually help instead of virtue signalling, go right ahead. I for one wouldn't mind hopping into their Discord if I'm allowed, chat with them, maybe log with them. Anyone else?
When contending with a monster, you'd be wise to give the devil his due.
Majority of players are very friendly here. I know some of them were helping you, as I was there. You could trade and build PoBs all day, if you ask them. After several months of that, you'd realise nothing new is happening and you would leave.
But, there are less friendly dudes here too and they are making the game interesting, thanks God for them.
Did they break your spirit so fast? Ok, quit Disco and be happy with some other game. But, I'll be disappointed if you do that.
Okay lets forget about the PoB for a second i think we are losing sight on what this is all about - This is all to do with the explosion of OORP in our discord about rule breaking - No report was made, once we removed that out of our discord it continued to flow over into our Feedback now i have no problem with recognising where we went wrong i don't know how many times we explained we were reforming but yet the hate still flowed granted i respect 90% of the feedback and accept it, what i don't respect or accept is the blatant dis respect from someone we have had little to no interaction with in game or even involvement with thinking they know everything about us!
Things have gotten out of control lets get them back on track before the hateful community pushes yet another good thing out of Discovery just because we don't want to wash to your standards!
I'd like to thank the many of you that remained constructive and positive in your feedbacks we will take note for the future but for now we have to decide if we can be bothered now to expend the effort after all this hate to continue our efforts in Discovery - 9 months wasted down the pan just because a few didn't like us and wanted to work to destroy us!! You've successfully ruined our love of this game!

Never ever try to get serious in Discovery. This game and this community is what we got and it's obvious someone in Omegas (The most dangerous in the whole Sirius sector) PoB will definitely meet if not Wesker but Corsairs or Coalition. Just play it in your chill wave and relax. Idk try to contact to someone who will give you protection from the attackers in exchange of valuable resources or money. Whatever try to RP with various groups. This is my 2 advices
