After Action Report: Interdiction

During a routine patrol of Frankfurt, we encountered a Kruger mining vessel "Osterfeld" carrying aluminum ore. The ore was promptly confiscated and destroyed, as a cargo ship was not available for retrieval. The Kruger vessel was then allowed to move along with an empty hold. [X]

Routine Shakedown Flight U-[REDACTED]

During a Routine Shakedown flight as commander of the recently re-activated U-[REDACTED], long range sensors reported activity in Frankfurt's Hausenfeld. Given the resource strain the Buro has been under and the lack of available craft to investigate the activity I ordered an alteration to the flight plan of U-[REDACTED] and investigated.

Upon arrival, sensors reported a Junker ship (FTP|Rusty-Pilgrim|) was assisting two Kruger Minerals Vessels and a Kishiro Technologies Vessel in mining operations. Given the Free Trade People's recent agreement with recently promoted Direktor Siegfried, I issued the FTP vessel a formal warning to not offer their services to companies who backed the Imperial Coup. With this the FTP vessel departed, after wiring a 20 Million Credit "Donation".

After the Junker ship departed, I initiated contact with the first Kruger vessel, callsign "Rocgnar". I advised him to seek alternate employment, and instructed that he leave the area at once. This Kruger ship complied and vacated the area without further hassle. Afterwords, I initiated contact with the second Kruger vessel, callsign "Ernst.Honigsberg". Advising him to do the same, both Kruger vessels departed the area at the same time. The Kishiro Technologies Vessel "Shikrato" left with no communication being exchanged.

Following these interactions, we had a small power delivery issue with the number 4 gun mount which necessitated a return to Schatten for diagnostics.

AESIR Facility Status Report

As part of my non-combat duties I have been ordered to prepare a report regarding the status of the AESIR facility, and to organize logistics operations for the Facility.

After inspecting the facility and looking at the shipping manifests it appears the ongoing conflict has had a negative impact on production and operations onboard the station. As you are aware, AESIR Facility is an annex of the Schatten Experimental Shipyard. As the Shipyard has transitioned to focus on maintenance operations, shipments to maintain AESIR have had to be diverted to support ongoing combat operations. Additionally, what space was previously available for research projects and engineering offensive and defensive equipment has been taken for storage and manufacture of spare parts for our combat assets.

To that end, I would like to propose the following:
- Construct additional space for construction of next-generation weapons and defensive systems.
- Contact our allies to discuss potential methods of limiting our dependence on external food, water and oxygen supplies. This would allow those transports to be redirected to acquiring components and items to use in the fight against the illegitimate imperialist government.

In the meantime, I have reorganized our Logistical Operations to better account for the support needs the AESIR facility as the conflict drags on.

Extraction of RNC-Helgoland

Operantion Rettungsfloß has been carried out today by BDM forces. The operation was succesful, however the RNC-Scheer was damaged. RNC-Helgoland is now at the docks, undergoing repairs.

Upon arrival in Omircron Delta, we secured the area around the main ships and proceeded to search for RNC-Helgoland, our extraction target.

During the initial search, we encountered two other vessels, one belonging to the Core and one to a freelancer. Shortly after, a Nomad warform made its appearance. U-96 and U-100 ignored the warform and carried on with the search for RNC-Helgoland once again. We came across it soon after, however, the Nomad which was previously chasing us, turned its weapons on the RNC-Scheer, which was damaged in the ensuing battle.

We jumped back to the safety of Rheinland afterwards, where we escorted the RNC-Helgoland, along with its 2 fighter escorts, to Schatten.

UNKNOWN UNITS IN THURINGIA

Two ships of a semi-organic origin spotted in the system of Thuringia for another time. After they entered the secured zone around Battleship Bayern, gunship U 66 was deployed for intercept. My fighter accompanied the gunship to provide auxiliary firepower until the reinforcement from planet Weimar arrive.

Combat started at 21:04: only one of two units engaged our forces. After three minutes of intense maneuvering, I was ordered to fall back and let U 66's Captain finish the hostile. Five minutes later, the D17 was shot down. The second unit became active. 66's chances were low, and so I returned to combat with the order to disengage if there will be a threat to my life. Three minutes later, the gunship was shot down, but the pilot ejected from the ship. Following two minutes I tried to trap the D19 into the Suhl Anomaly field but failed.

The survived unit hid in the dense clouds of the Salzungenebel nebula. Following them was too dangerous, so I decided to return to Bayern for repairs. End of report.

Due to an increase in security violations in Thuringia space, it has been made clear to me the current command structure within the Kampfdrohnengeschwader has failed. Their research projects have failed on multiple occasions, and when they do succeed it is often with minimal success.

To that end, I would like you to take command of all Kampfdrohnengeschwader projects and operations onboard Jena station. As your current rank is insufficient for such a posting, I have filed the paperwork for your promotion to Korvettenkapitän. You will report to me directly.

The most important project is the complete automation of a Tirpitz class battlecruiser into an unmanned combat vessel. Per the last report from Jena Station, Buro scientists had completed automation of several systems however the vessel still needed human manning to be combat effective. I expect that the Tirpitz class battlecruiser be made fully-unmanned by the end of 828A.S.

Unknown Vessel

After a routine patrol in the Frankfurt system, I decided to make a quick run into the Omicrons. During the trip, "Order" vessels have been located in the vicinity of the so called "Freeport 11". A brief chatter revealed that they have detected a possible Infectee within Omicron Zeta. I followed silently, only to find out that their claims were false as I arrived within the targetted system. I returned back in Omicron Delta, to which point an unidentified vessel had been waiting by the jumphole.

A modified Odin with prototype weaponry of gallic origin and a busted transponder. The pilot revealed during the conversation that she hates the Rheinland Empire and Liberty, and that she cooperates with the "Liberty Insurgency". The unknown contact states she was a former Bundschuh aktivist. More notably of Die Weiße Rose. Added to this, she also owns another fighter. "Shiroi" whom saved the RNC-Helgoland a few weeks ago during an Imperialist incursion. Pre-Siege of Thuringia. Lastly, the same individual owns a Liberty Siege Cruiser, assumed from the wording she had placed during the conversation. Relevant data should be seen below.
