Dude, as ex-HR I know how people are hired. The stress is not over web but over "strategically important". Go to DARPA's webpage right now and check how they hire people. It is not some random shop in a mall to "call for applications on social networks" which Linkedin is de facto. Your call for application for science officers for navy was open to literally anyone on the web and therefore looked as if you were looking for some barista for a tiny coffee shop for the navies to chill at during the break. Look at 5th sci division. Look at ORG. Why didn't you created a proper recruitment page that would give the wine of serious staff for serious applicants?

Anyway, this is a meme thread and that call for scientists was surely a meme.

Respectfullly disagree, from IRL experience. Standart Military orgs in many countries include open spots detailing what skills are needed, not exactly what will be done.

Real life example, currently active, on the country liberty is based on, actively recruiting scientists, some for very strategic shit. Some even have *grasp* html buttons. Are army jarheads even allowed to use those?
