Gallia.

The place has some wonderful RP man, I haven't pvped there in a long time but I imagine its pretty similar to elsewhere, but even if those things don't grab your attention the systems sure as hell will.

The place is beautiful man, from systems to solars to ships, everything about it is just a sight to behold on its own, everything that happens there is just extra icing on the cake.

Can't forget the masterpieces that are gallic lanes either.

I only left 7 years ago because I had just moved back to Canada from Japan and was basically couch surfing and living in hostels for awhile till I got resettled. By the time I had a solid internet connection again, I had been gone for over a year and just never came back.

I returned when @RedEclipse Pm'd me (Lucky has email alerts turned on) and wanted to get Phoenix back in action. It was a no brainier. Disco is unique, its not a game but a community. When Red messaged me, it was and still is the most important thing to me to be a part of this community again. Esp during a time when its easier to talk to any of you then my own damn neighbors.

Its not perfect, nothing is. But I am glad it exists and I am proud to be a part of it.

This game has been with me growing up. I've learnt from it and it has also been my outlet before.

That's a good point. I've learned a lot of things about people here that I wouldn't have otherwise, mainly about power and its use or abuse. In books I could have only got theory, but here I was in the middle of the whole thing and experienced politics as a scale model in practice. Got some basic insight into how and why laws are made and upheld, which helped me in my History studies. I'm afraid, if I leave, I'll deny myself this source of experience.

Roleplay is fun,soo many choices and the community is good as well..once you find the right faction / group then the fun begins...The memes are funny as Hek.

(sun) Yeah, I have started aeons ago with Freelancer. Today in 2021 I'm grateful Discov is here.
The systems "geography", the factions, the mining system, ... so wonderful.

I'm very on-again-off-again on the server due to real life being crazy , but I always come back every 6 months or so because Freelancer has always been my FAVORITE video game. And Discovery has amazing content and a great community of people just as in love with this game as I am.

The naïve hope that Discovery will make the changes required to be a good mod again.
