Screen Resizing

Ok I'll put it up nice and easy.

My laptop has a resolution of 1200 x 800

The FL resolution is the standard 1240 x 740 (maybe thats wrong, im guessing)

My laptop resizes and stretches the game screen so it fits. This seems to make my mouse lag more side to side, then it does up and down.

I went to my friends house who just installed freelancer. His computer doesn't resize it, it just shows the resolution, and puts a black border around it. So the freelancer screen is just in the middle of his widescreen laptop. And he gets NO mouse lag.

So I'm wondering if there is a way to change it from mine RESIZING the game to stretch and look strange and have mouse lag, to just putting a black border around the normal resolution. I don't care if the sides of my screen are cut off.

I tried doing the widescreen resize thing in that one tutorial, but I didn't like the way it looked.

Any help or ideas?
