Why is story even more awful? Does anyone involved actually know anything about the factions they're molesting? I actually miss Durandal QA at this point, because at least he just said no to literally any changes that weren't his, and even his changes weren't that bad.
Kek. It's almost like it doesn't matter who runs Story in Disco. It's shite regardless, without hundreds of active players daily like the old days everything is just so shallow.
Stop caring so much Saronsen! I thought you'd learnt by now? Discovery is 82% disapppointment, 17% blues, 1% worth your time.
Durandal's methodology was questionable, as was his character. He wasn't necessarily bad, it's just that many of his choices were and they outweighed any good he might've done. At least now there's decently frequent updates, progress is progress. If stuff is arse at least you can bet with some certainty there will be an update coming, for better or worse.
When contending with a monster, you'd be wise to give the devil his due.
Because the systems guy is the one to blame for story changes.
Besides that, the merger only really functions on an ooRP level. It is certainly a boon to the faction from a gameplay point of view, but it remains to be seen whether it was worth the butchering of lore it required to happen.
