The infiltration is progressing well. After discussing with Lionel Boucher, my main contact in the Front, I shall relocate to Planet Metz to survey the land and spaceborne operations in the region. The period of time until the Maquis attack is unknown, however according to Boucher, it will happen in the following months.
Yesterday, the Seigneurs have also made a public broadcast to the citizenry of Gallia, stating they must stay united against the alliance made by the other Houses. This plays right in our favor - support from the Bretonian and Crayter Intelligence Services is expected in the Tau region. A copy of the broadcast will also be attached below, in case of future need for it; communications with the Front have also been added.

People of Gallia,
It has been only a short time since treacherous Sirians attacked our House unprovoked, and wounded our Nation, while the supposedly moral ones were watching and did nothing. Our pleas for aid have fallen on deaf ears. You have followed their rules, and complied with their requests, only to get stabbed in the back.
Now they gather at our borders under the guise of a so called 'Defensive Pact' against Gallia. They preach that this pact is for the safety of the region -- for their own safety, I am sure, but little do they care about Gallia and its prosperity. They use this pact to further their demands on our Nation, and sanction us when we do not bow. Do you want to pay for the upkeep of their crumbling spatial infrastructure? Do you want to pay them so they can rebuild the vessels they used to invade our House?
Difficult times lie ahead of us. They will try to divide us and manipulate us against each other. They will want to exploit our own resources and economy to mend their failing states.
For this very reason, we must stand united for the good of Gallia. Soldiers and civilians, nobles and commoners -- side by side, working together to safeguard our Nation. We must put aside our differences and redouble our efforts. We welcome those who will come to our aid and reject those who work against us. Our ancestors worked hard to turn Gallia into a powerful House, and we must continue their legacy, no matter the setbacks we had suffered, and will suffer.
Only the strong and confident GALLIC NATION will have a prosperous future in this otherwise hostile sector.

I've found myself in a difficult situation. Despite expecting the first patrol under Bureau colors to be a quick and easy task, it was far from such. I have had to, unfortunately, or rather fortunately, for the rest of the citizens, eliminate two pirates. From afar, you could hardly tell that the same Bureau that hunts every-day pirates is the one that is guilty of so many crimes against the people of Gallia and Sirius.
At any rate, I have returned to Avallon whilst my fighter is under repairs from the two skirmishes. After the maintenance is done, I shall set off to Lorraine and take a closer look at the state of Venissieux and its escorting fleet, as per Boucher's request.
