Biography:
Lea Kaufman was born on planet New Berlin. During her childhood, she learnt fast enough how to fight. Her father, Bjorn Kaufman was a military officer. He taught Lea the utility of fighting for the Rheinland empire. So before she was old enough to follow a special training like her father, she went to school to learn some language other than her main one.
When she was a teenager, she followed the training of her father. Not to join the military, but because she wanted to be strong in this world. Lea Kaufman learnt how to fly a ship at twenty and once she had the approval to fly, she used her father’s ship.
Lea was independent. She did not need the love of her father. However, money was running out and she needed to find a job. It was not always her father who would pay her the fuel and the equipment of the ship. She thought to maybe escort transports and then, she will see what to do next.
Lea contacted Kaiserliche Rheinwehr. With the replies of the military, it ended up that she exchanged some intel to them. Especially those who were in possession of Rheinland's technology such as a Valkyrie or other ships. After some months, Lea Kaufman needed to contact the government in exchange to be allowed to use her Odin, she needed to help the military or the buro. That's what she did.
830 AS
Early 830 AS, Lea Kaufman contacted Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke, a member from the Buro about some unusual encounters deep in the omicrons. Besides that, Lea kept the channel open in case she gets some jobs to do.
Lea Kaufman contacted Jack Daniels, the actual guildmaster of The Core. She helped them during an expedition to find the guildmaster supposedly vanished. But it turned out he was not vanished but ready to ambush a certain captain Hackett. After a successful mission, Lea was paid duely for her services.
Lea also met Levan Harlow in Sigma-15. With pity over the young man, she offered shelter a moment in order to let him rest. Their relation was mostly friendly then, after Levan dared to kiss her on the lips, she promised herself to slap him, but never did actually.
833 - 834 AS
Lea continued to do some contracts here and there against the Corsairs and by doing so, gaining credits. She also learnt the death of Jack Daniels, the news was shocking. She wondered if her relation with The Core will change, but fortunately, after contacting the group, it did not change.
Her relation with Levan Harlow increased, she mostly sees him as a young brother, but the other day, near planet Manhattan, she ended up to think more about him.
She also began to put her nose in some shady situations just because she wants to protect Levan. She encountered those so called Sentinels, Caliban, getting more and more information as false or as true as possible, making the situation too big to understand properly. The meeting with Rebecca Harper helped to put some lights over the situation and also about why Levan wanted to hide three years ago.
Lea also contacted the AP Manufacturing director after meeting some problems with her Odin. To resume shortly the situation, because it was an old ship, most of the systems were almost obsolete if she wanted to install new technologies in order to optimize the ship itself. During the exchange with the director, she elaborated that they will remove the old systems, install new systems and adding new plates over it. All freely, but going for another mission in a near future.
835 AS
In February 835 A.S, Lea Kaufman lost her house in an arson and she was considered as missing in Rheinland. How her house burned was because of a man's doing. She lost her kneecaps by blaster shots and she was also beaten. Luckily, she was saved by a strange couple, but for price. After she was finally able to walk again, she traveled from Med Force Academy to New London and there, she met a Elize Terblanche, a transport captain for Caledonia Distribution Ltd.
Escorting the ship led Lea in Kusari. One day, in space, she crossed the path of a pilot of the mighty Kusari Naval Forces. The pilot was kind enough to close their eyes for this time and adviced Lea to contact the NOH which was known as Naval Operations Headquarters. She then contacted the NOH to have some guidance to obtain an extraordinary license so she can legally use her Odin MK I in Kusari. She managed to give her résumé to Shido Kijima. After it was well received, Lea explained how she got her ship and she also contacted Ionic Incorporate so they could act as benefactors, but things were more complicated. The person who responded to Lea seemed to not quite understand her request, but after sharing what the NOH told her, Lea waited their reply while remaining on Kanagawa Shipping Platform. While her stays on the station seemed to last forever, Lea thought a way how Caledonia Distribution Ltd can help with the matter if Ionic Incorporate comes with a bad news.
After a moment in Kusari, Lea contacted Caliban. To say in short, she asked him to be in relation with a person able to toy with her transponder. The reason was mostly because of the arson in Rheinland so she could go back almost incognito. But it was mostly to remain more secretive than anything at the end of the day. The last message she received from Caliban or maybe Ampere, she was unsure, the package was ready on Barrier Gate, Section B. It took a while before she could have a hand on the package. She then installed the new device and the display changed how she wanted.
836 AS
When the year started, Lea had noticed that her funds began to be low. So she began a search to get some incomes to reflow her bank.

Lea Kaufman owns an Odin MK I heavily modified by The Core APM engineers. The modification was requested by Lea after the ship began to be a piece of junk and to give a second life to it because it was a souvenir, she had no choice to make an update.
Unlike other MK I series, this one is compatible with any civilian technology, The Core technology and Technology that is mostly found in the Edge Worlds. The Core engineers respected the old design of the ship while modifying the systems in general and upgrading the hull of it.
