Figured the Zaibatsu's communication line is good enough not to raise suspicions. It's free from KOI surveillance.
If I got this right the other day, you are far away from being yourself these days and not exactly in a healthy condition either.
Did you try really everything to "fix" this already though? I guess you already consulted your own medical experts or whatever one should call in this cases.
I know I should not care too much about you anymore but I am curious nevertheless.
So.. if I can help you somehow, just tell me. My hands are tied and I cannot show up randomly across Sirius or disappear for days anymore, but I can still utilize the Zaibatsu's resources to aid you. Regardless, you can expect me to use this frequency from time to time to ask about your health. And I will not accept a no about this either.

I have been on some personal errands. Still a bit occupied with it. As for the condition, I have a solution, maybe. We'll see eventually. I'll be fine.
So, if you should not care, why are you risking so much for the sake of curiosity? ... What did you do to even get the attention of KOI's watchful eye anyhow?
Glad to hear you already got an idea or two to.. well, get better.
Why I still care? Honestly, I thought about it the last days. I think it's a mix of guilt and curiosity. Contact just broke apart abruptly and I felt bad about it.
And about the KOI, how to make it simple. I do not possess hard proof but if the Prime Minister - a woman and part of a progressive party on top - is not under monitoring by the Emperor's own decree, then I think I am in the wrong Kusari.
The Zaibatsu's channels are only clean because Sis got a good hand at convincing them to stick their nose elsewhere when it comes to private corporate interests - you know, the same convincing methods Kishiro and Samura utilize, just on a lesser scale.
Anyway, keep me in check about your trips to Kepler or Kusari, might as well show you around the newest acquisition of my family if you ever find the time for it. You saw it already; The Sunekosuri. Alternatively, you know, just chit chat from time to time.

Prime Minister of Kusari.
Yes, you heard me. No, this is no joke: Cabinet Records of Kusari.
Guess you understand see why I hid my identity from that Oracle now - and why I generally appreciate utmost discretion.
Right. You surely remember Patricia, you know, Lyons, the LPI one.
After all that.. crap, I returned to Kusari and my home on Honshu. Now, 824 was still in the middle of the civil war and our political landscape was a mess. Honshu being part of the Republic and such. Mainly thanks to Iriel and a couple of old and new friends I got introduced to a small local political party keen on using this mess - and the second elections of the Republic - to gain a foothold on a larger scale.
Honestly, don't ask me why they chose me as one of their main candidates. I had no damn clue about politics whatsoever but upon Iriel insisting, I just tried it. Why not? I planned to stay in Kusari from there on.
Let's just say it worked out a bit too well, first became part of a Ministry, then the Minister of it. 827, during the second election of the Reformed Empire, I was voted in as Prime Minister. Honestly, it's more of a title than anything else. Our current constitution actually gives me power, but let us be honest here: The Naval Forces and the Emperor still hold the true power in Kusari. That will never change.
Figure you also did not see it back then, but guess who had the "pleasure" to declare war on Gallia? Yep, me. Showed me how little say the Cabinet actually has.
Generally, it is a lot of work, but at least I can actually influence some small things to make Kusari a better place. The civil war sure left many scars behind, so did the many other conflicts. But I guess I should not bore you with the details.
What about you though, still a leading figure of Auxesia, right?
Interesting. And do you prefer this new life? Or did you miss the older times of working as a free gun? Do you regret this wild life choice? The war between Gallia and Kusari was always a curious choice but there is no use in dwelling on the past for too long.
Ah goodness, I almost forgot about Lyons... Actually, I have. I only recognise her name and status. A Liberty Police Officer. My memory has been completely eradicated on that section of my life... Did we fly together?
Oh well, as for your query, hm, the Directorate has always been in charge. One could say that I am still representing. I have been tied up quite a bit in these errands, I may have to abdicate, we'll see. For now, I still assist in greater interests.
The recent conflict with Gallia? Spite. Nothing but spite, revenge, paired with the goal to keep Gallia from causing any more trouble for a decade straight. That sums it up nicely.
Patricia? Patricia was.. my friend, a close one. I lived with her while I was - just as you say - nothing but a free gun. I miss some parts of it, the adventurous part obviously. Not exactly the countless encounters with Nomads and such, but meeting new people around Sirius. You know, the same dwelling around that eventually caused us to meet up in the first place.
Though, this new life is fulfilling, I can change the landscape of Kusari. I can assist foundations helping Kusari's people, I can still go and meet new interesting people, even if it is often work related.
I mean, the return to the family, the Zaibatsu tied to it, the political influence... I would be lying if I said I do not live in pure luxury. That Renzu Liner? I own it. Not the Zaibatsu, not the Government. This still feels surreal.
Although, if not for the odd trip into space, I'd get bored eventually.
Directorate, you say? I honestly forgot about the little you shared about Auxesia's internal structure all this years ago. I figure that you're past the stage of having no real base of operations and established yourselves somewhere nice? Silverstone hinted at something along this lines. He's quite talk active and I got a feeling he is not supposed to talk so carelessly.
Silverstone doesn't know much, and it may be wise to avoid him. He is, well... It's simpler to say that he is infested, but not by Nomads, but by a deviant autonomous system. Their entire purpose is to assimilate other life forms, discreetly. Tread with caution when dealing with him. Or do not, that's your decision to make.
But of course, it has been years, we have investments all over the Sector, primarily for studies. I would be vastly concerned if we were to remain within a more Nomadic life, travelling place to place. Perhaps it could be a possibility. The Sector is a very hostile and ignorant one.
Living to improve others lives? Admirable. I would rather use our technology for healing, for greater enlightenment of knowledge. Unfortunately, the more - let us say - very uneducated stances of some groups have forced us to take more stone cold stance. Betrayal does that. Not that Crayter was ever of great worth, beyond their grand quest of pride in the Taus.
Purpose? Well, I could have said something along the lines of ... Uses? Power? Skills? I could have sounded sappier, would you have preferred that? Ah well. We have to do something in life, set ourselves a goal, a greater purpose. Or else we'll fade away, hm?
