For decades, the ancient ruins on Amorgos have remained a mystery. Recent research done by a team of Corsair archeologists and geologists has led to an astonishing find - all the caverns on the moon are connected to some sort of reactor, and it's missing an energy source. Ravenna's Phalanx squadron has been ordered to comb the Nomad worlds. At the very heart of Nomad space, they have found an artifact that fits the signature of Amorgos' reactor. Unfortunately for them, hostile parties have become aware of the operation and are now plotting an assault on Amorgos! What'll come as a surprise for them, is that the Deterrence have prepared a special task force for such occasions.

Flow of Events

A Core Battlecruiser will arrive and deploy a squadron of fighters. A quick response Corsair team, along with a boarding vessel, will undock Amorgos. The boarding vessel will begin boarding procedure on the Core Battlecruiser and disable it, while the fighters go at each other. Allies of each sides will arrive before battle begins.

This is an open-ended event that can lead to the following consequences:
• If Corsairs win - the BC remains abandoned in space inRP, a follow-up event will occur where Corsairs try to break it down for parts while Core try to take it back.
• If Core win - they successfully steal the Nomad artifact and the BC returns to them.

The battle will be fought in Omicron Xi. Corsair forces and allies will deploy from Amorgos, Core forces and allies will deploy from sector A7. Groups will move towards the A/B 6/7 intersection when the battle begins.
