dragon and fighter dominate the banner - the name of the faction ( which should in a way be the primary focus ) is somewhat secondary there.
additionally to that - the dragon is a very non FL style - bit like something you airbrush on your pimped up car - but not something that a faction like the dragons would like to use - i think ( since they are a very traditional faction )
it looks good - just not what i d expect.
the lens flares are looking cheap, i d not use them, - they look like they re a simple one-click photoshop filter - and they hurt the banner more than help its effect, imo.
anyway - you see on my sig that i prefer classic or retro style ornaments more - so its all subjective anyway.
The name was supposed to look as if it was comming out of the mist. With the lense flair adding to the effect. And the dragon looks nice. Yes its not FL. But not everything has to be FL. Its just an effect. ANd makes a statment about futeristic Dragons. And FL is set in the future. So why not use this to symbolise that.
It looks very cool, but not very NPG. What am I saying, my try at a NPG banner was horrible.
On that Note: much much better than me. But not the best.
