Help with Nomad NPCs

So I've been trying to obtain some Nomad Battleship remains and its just impossible to kill them by myself.
How do you guys do it? Theres always a lot of escorts and gunboats with the battleship so they just eat me alive.

I tried using my own battleship and a bomber, no chance... Please help

So there is no shot in killin a dreadnought or a battleship on my own?

I mean there is. They're not really stronger than other battleships. It depends on your distance and equipment. There are weapons made to fight small craft and some to fight larger ships.

Its not that they are stronger, they are a lot of other Nomad Gunboats Cruisers Escorts by the battleship so I can barely have time to do any damage to the battleship.
What gun loadout would you recommend to deal with them?

I tried a bomber and it was just no way I would survive a minute so my only shot is with a battleship.
Is a Battleship better option than a Cruiser lets say?

Solo raiding Omicron Major isn't exactly the best way to go about it. It's probably best to either get someone else with you too or just try high level missions.

There's also missions against nomads somewhere that can spawn battleships only. But especially cruisers do a lot of damage now so you might want to take those out.

I never farm these so can only give like the basics. Cerberus are super efficient at short range. Or you could try taking them out without going in their range with longer range weaponry.

Though if you just find another person that already makes it a lot easier.

Omicron Major was a suicide mission no doubt. So what I found was missions spawn two battleships at once so I have no chance again against two of them at once.
Omicron Psi spawns a battleship but with four gunboats around it or something similar, so they eat me quickly.

I tried fighting them at close range so maybe I would have to try at a longer range, but they are a faster ships so they just come to me quickly too

Depends on battleship you use. Imo light battleships are best for solo. Zoner Aquilon or Liberty Overlord are strong solutions too. Of course, requires certain practice, but Major solo raids are possible to accomplish.

I was using an Osiris, I was thinking of using something "heavier" like a Bismarck or a Zoner Nephilim?

And Im quite new to battleships, so I dont know what kind of weaponry should I use against those Blue Jellies
