Just a quick note:
Victory parade is not "Russian thing" ,it is International celebration of victory against Greatest organised evil world has even known, Nacism, and it is wildly celebrated as state hooliday in more than 70 world contries, with military parades and such (in our Serbia for example) , and "just as celebration" (not state hooliday), in lots of other countries.
So,this hole mess was created because of ignorance of staff member.
But, as old Apache American indian saying goes:
"Man who never in his life has seen a poison snake, will still die from its venom, ignorance will not save him."
Perhaps other staff members will ?
Admit mistake, or stay stubnorn and loose more players , your choice , i dont give a feck tbh,i just posted to provide, as alwais, facts.
If blame us for something then the real problem maybe it's more metagaming than political. This metagaming parade was done for a few years and was ignored.

except there is nothing political about it. it's people celebrating perhaps the greatest achievement of civilized world. paying respect to everyone who died during the world war 2 - and i will refresh your memory: 22 millions of russians died during that time - and who allowed us to live in a world as we know it.
perhaps, remembering and paying respects to the deeds of your ancestors, or everyone who died a hero during that atrocious event, isn't a forte among the discovery staff.
actually, banning people for making this parade is what exactly one would call "overlapping with IRL politics".
There is political context to an event only if people give it such, as it goes with the meaning community puts into any other event; anything can be prohibited under an excuse like that. Staff have a valid point, but it just doesn't apply to this particular case.
Peace, being the distant dream it is, comes inevitably, and goes hand in hand with justice.
Cursed be the war. Heroes never die! @Vitoniz30 @Connor
Liberty doesn't celebrate Independence Day. Rheinland doesn't celebrate German Reunification. There is no need for the Coalition to celebrate the end of World War 2.
These things can and should all be celebrated elsewhere and in other manners. Space Russia performing a military parade in a time like this is in poor taste, regardless of the nationalities of the players involved.

Do you not see how your very explanation is bringing real life political issues into it? "22 millions of russians died during that time - and who allowed us to live in a world as we know it. " this statement itself has a major political slant to it.
"remembering and paying respects to the deeds of your ancestors, or everyone who died a hero during that atrocious event" no-one is saying don't pay respects, they're saying don't do it in an unrelated game not even set on earth
