Liberty's lowlife has been misbehaving again. It would be good to teach them a lesson in obedience or they'll start to think they are anything more than our servants in Liberty. Preferably swiftly and violently.
And don't worry about any of our fellow Maltese diplomats complaining that we're escalating this issue. It is silly to think brutes of the likes of the Rogues would ever understand anything other than violence and show of force.

However, such nice formalities aside, what the Rogues have done is nothing short of pure disrespect. Though, it is not much of a surprise. These peddlers have never behaved well.
As for the diplomats... I never worry about them. Their actions begin and end with yapping with no consequences.

Other Maltese units are likely going to begin investigating soon, I think we should remind captain De Luca to stay away from our vassal's territories. We don't need to concern ourselves with the petty affairs in the houses - especially Liberty.
One thing I noticed while in Liberty was your connection to a "Cobra" I understand he's the head of the Xeno Alliance. He seems to be on decent terms with you, would you mind filling me in on this relationship?

That snake seems interested in getting in on the Cardamine business in Liberty. Last year I arranged a few shipments to end up his way at some smuggling hideout on planet Pittsburgh to test how he would react and if he could handle it. I've discussed possibilities for further business with him, but his idealistic side was not ready to concede the possibility of having competition and at that time there was no reason to push the talks any further. He wanted exclusivity on the last dash to the final customers and there was no reason to throw the Rogues and Junkers under back then. A lot can change in an year though.

We work as a team out there, remember that. None of us is infallible.
There's a freeport in California called Fontana. The Xenos operate that station indirectly through supporters to their cause. See if you can move our Liberty wing there to judge their reaction. It is a freeport so there likely won't be open hostility, but I want to know how they still feel about us. If any of the Xeno Alliance types show up tell them that Cobra needs to contact me.

I've been on the border for a few days now. Nothing's turned up. If Hemlocke survived he's been slow to retaliate, and now with the Xenos in on Cardamine distribution we have a new business partner in the event they leave.

For the time being we are to respect the non-aggression pact with the Xenos, assuming they do not shoot at us first. Let us see where this new deal that señora de Marco signed with the Cobra leads us. If the Rogues decide to retaliate because of this new venture or if the snake man decides to betray us there will be plenty of more blood that will need spilling again, but for now I think we should just observe how the situation progresses.

I'd like to report that Fontana is quite uneventful, Colonel.
Nothing out of the ordinary has happened on the base or in the surrounding area. I will remain stationed on the base and stay vigilant for any developments in any regard until further notice.
