Whats this Name Change Stuff?

I was wondering and new to the server but whats this name change stuff? I clearly must miss understood it since I thought was a few players requesting name changes but if that was the case server been up like 2 min later hehe.

So what is it? Whats it mean?

You can buy on some Planets/bases a commodity called "Name Change Certificate" which costs 2Million.
Then you search the "Name-Change" Thread, post your old and your new name there.
After a while you have a new name on you char:)

How long does this usually take? its been 45 minutes now....i fear the person who is helping me with the transfer wont come on now...:(

Took an hour to do, server is back up, enjoy! Oh and always take screens of transfers if you aren't doing them with Angels or Admins.
