Our two-year excursion is drawing to an end. Under the banner of Nakai Clan and the leadership of Captain Kumahata Akira, the Hamamatsuka has prowled the Omicron cluster, defending Order installations and executing hit-and-run attacks on "Nomad" hives and lairs. We are proud to report that our vessel's long-standing commitment to support the Shogun's allies has never wavered. Our attached "Kiba" wing of Sabre-class fighters has performed admirably in a scouting role, intercepting smaller threats and executing missions for which the Hamamatsuka was not well-suited. Morale is high.
With that being said, we long for home. The painted skies of Kusari call us back, our mission objectives have been satisfied, and our two-year timetable has drawn to a close. On board various Order installations, news reached our ears of new leadership in Chugoku. This provides us an even greater reason to return home promptly - we intend to swear firm fealty to the new Shogunate and convey our deepest regret that we were so far from home during the period of transition.
Simply put - we want to come home. We wish to feast, hoist the Rose Dragons banner, pay our respects in person to the new Shogun, and receive new orders.
Are we welcome to return? We do not wish to roam these skies as ronin. Supporting the Shogunate is our shared calling in life. We will await your response here at Taba, and will accumulate supplies in the hope of a return trip.

One final note - We have lost four Dragons in honorable combat during this excursion - letters home to their families are attached to this message's sub-carrier wave. They have received proper passage beyond the mortal realm in accordance with our traditions.
Konbanwa. This is an official message from the Elder Council of Dragons regarding your request to return home following your long excursion into the nomad worlds. Of course, we welcome any Dragons roaming far and wide to return when they please. Your request was not a necessary one, yet your expressions of formality and a wish to greet the newly appointed Shogun is very respectable. Your return will be celebrated and you will be inducted as one of our kin. The losses you've sustained are unfortunate, however, and we've relayed the letters contained within your metadata to the intended families.
Because of your circumstances, you will be allowed to continue freely flying the Hamamatsuka despite being new to the Rosen banner. We hope to see the long awaited return of you and your crew.
