Thanks St.Denis.

To be honest, I live far from UK and my knowledge of geography in that region is poor. This is why I use wikipedia in such logic: Monkey Hangers was in Hartlepool that is port town in County Durham. I found Durham Outpost but nothing near it that would hint at an event.

"Hartlepool is near the City of Newcastle" - Don't know it because of said earlier and eh... Navmap don't search in uninhabited planets(

You'd get lost in Durham, in fact, you'd have to push your ship over land from Hartlepool & i doubt
poor stranded monkey would have the strength or nerve to swim ashore from port!

Indeed the Nav map doesn't allow for the search uninhabited Planets.

But seeing as Newcastle is a System in Bretonia, opening up the System shows you 4 Planets there and the biggest is Hartlepool.

Congratz to the winners and thank you St. Denis for making something that required a different set of skills than the usual run of the mill event. Sadly I didn't have much time through the week or the weekend to really get a shot at competing but I'm glad I didn't get stuck at the first clue.

That would have been extremely frustrating Big Grin

I hope the winners will put their shiny new Sci Data to a good use!

I take it, nobody is interested in finishing for their own gratification?

If not, then I will close the Event and remove the 7 Bases.

Congratulations to those finished it and to those that participated, you have my thanks.

I did spend a lot of time planning it and a lot of time getting everything ready.

I also spent a lot of watching people fly around Sirius hunting for the next clue.

I did go through periods of a) banging my head of the table in frustration when I could see people not looking for simple answers but going very deep in their interpretation of the clues. I even spent a lot of time question whether my clues were too ambiguous.

But having 5 people perservere and complete it, made my time worth it,

If nobody shows interest in trying it out, then I will post the puzzles and their solutions in the next couple of days.

Thank you, St.Denis, for making a unique event, thank you for your efforts, they haven't gone unnoticed. And sorry for not going through with it. I couldn't bear the frustration. At least 5 people made it, good job. I'm sure others are still interested in doing it.

I'm looking forward to see what's next, and get just as much, if not more, frustrated at the first roadblock!
