Guten tag, Oberkommando.

Pardon me in advance if I am acting above my pay grade in this circumstance but I strongly believe it is the very experience that allows me to act this way on the matter at hand. I have come across the report given by Leutenant Jurgen Schmidt and his dubious encounter in the Hudson system and I have to say, the situation is very dangerous.  I'm aware of the Hudson Agreement which by the way, expired the moment we went through the very changes of government and policies within our House. Chapter 3 article 6 in particular and of it's limitations. But Liberty, from my perspective and past experiences with and against them, isn't famous for respecting these very much when it came to enforcing their own intersts over the others'. A gathering like that could be interpreted in many more ways than they bothered to explain and now more than ever when this Treaty could be considered insignificant unless renewed, needless to say that those two war vessels seem to me like they are not designed for direct assault, but more for hit and run operations. I do not want to stir the pot nor to create panick, however i will do anything that keeps our interests safe from any intruders. So, i am requesting for permission to take the necessary safety measures by strategically deploying the Pinneberg and its competent crew and wing-ships at the vicinity of the Hudson gate in Hamburg system, as well as the approval to occasionally patrol our part of space within the Hudson system.  We will act with extreme caution and ensure that it is indeed not an invasion or any threat of such sort headed towards our Vaterland.

the very report is on my desk. Together with two more.

View this as your immediate order for redeployment to the Hamburg system. The Pinneberg and her squadrons are to act as my bullwark as well as spearhead in Hudson if need be. Fitting assets from nearby system fleets are informed to act and reinforce on short notice should it be required. Said forces forming a temporary Kampfgruppe for the duration of any and all operations within Hudson.
Kampfgruppe Pinneberg is hereby tasked with monitoring and investigating the affairs in Hudson in addition to guarding our part of the border there. Honor what the old treaty demands, for now.

If Nomads are active there again, i will know.
If Liberty prepares for an ill-fated campaign, i will know.
If unknown factors affect the happenings there, they will be unveiled and i will know.
If a smuggler does so much as move one unit of illicit cargo from or to their or our borders, i will know.
You have your orders.

Eagerness to serve and willingness to step forth when the situation calls for it are traits that are valued highly by some - less so by others.

Esteemed Leadership,

Your orders and tasks have been received loud and clear, madam Admiral. Without any further delays I am informing you that the Pinneberg has been supplied accordingly and is en-route to the Hamburg system near the Hudson Gate as we speak, estimated arrival time is 10 hours.

Communications channel will remain open on extreme encryption mode in case there will be an unhappy turn of events, and as well to directly report any data acquired regarding the set of events that have been mentioned.

Whatever I must do I will, in order to maintain the safety of the Vaterland, it's best interests and our people. Considering I am experienced in this area of conflict, I believe I will satisfy the needs for this operation, rest assured i have the best of intentions.  This would be all for the time being, Admiral.

Guten tag,

We began the first procedures of the task in Hudson system, which was standing by near the Hamburg Jump Gate and keeping under surveillance the traffic of the system. It was not long until an unknown vessel "greeted" our appearance. Unfortunately there are no visuals of said vessel, it maintained a safe distance (14k) from our position, most likely somewhere in the rocky field. Anyhow, i will attach the conversation logs below.

It was not a very long conversation, but it was enough to suspect something about it when the person in question started to show a rather "defensive-aggressive" tone when i asked about the nomad activity in the area or even opened up to her about two Osiris class Battleships being deployed at Liberty's end of the border. If this Unto.Nightfall|S8 subject is met again, i advise to be careful around it as we don't know anything about it but the Captain's name, if that really is her name, and that her tone sounded like she originates from Liberty, or maybe even Bretonia. I will leave the conclusions to you. The conversation ended there when we attempted to approach it's location, but it disappeared off radar, we do not know where it went, it's identification, nor the type of vessel. All we know is what the Captain told us, for now. This would be all. I will come back with more details when we acquire them.
