What is roleplaying?

You take your time....build a character....work out a background...

and then you interact with other players and their roles...



If you give a shit about circumstances, talk over another players head and confront him with a situation that leaves no options,
then you are doing it WRONG!


Everybody has the right to be viewed as the role they have build for themselves.....if I ignore stuff or invent stuff about another character
just to serve the own agenda you are doing it wrong!

You dont dictate what my char is...I do! Let the others participate and do not overlook their POV!
Roleplay is a collective experience! Its not your movie...its ours!
therefor Im no object and I do not treat other players like that or something else I could have any control over!

Nobody is a NPC.....and yet we all are...

Flying the wrong ship inside the wrong sector does not equal in automatic death for that player!

That is not law-enforcing but blatant vigilancy! Get real!

A human life still is something of worth in this universe!

Freelancer is full of prisons, because not every crime ends in certain death!


I really miss some crucial logic here!


And Im not here to serve as a punching bag for people who obviously have fun behaving like a jerk towards others!

Dont call it RP when you only play to get off on it for feeling empowered!

Additionally. @Loki1982, sometimes encounters with factions and individuals don't always go the way you want them to. In such situations there are usually two solutions. If you feel angry about an encounter, then take a break and come back later. See if you missed something and view it from a different perspective. Things might not have been as you've originally seen them.

Of course, there is the second solution. Still take a break, and then later on try reach out to someone that can help you (Staff members or to veterans that have played in this community for years and normally know the ropes better than you might). For this to work, you could even join the Official Discord.

But this isn't a RP server anymore despite it's name - it's the one server, for PvPers, beginners, Rpers, what have you, goals and aims of players differ

There are some people who play to RP, but sadly they are among the few.

But, yeah, OP, if you are stealing technology - meaning you're using it without the permission from the representatives of the NPC group - they are fully allowed to shoot you. Zoners and Freelancers do not have special privileges due to open diplomacy. Neutrality doesn't make you immune to consequences.
